Cold Saturday mornings in Missouri call for something warm, sweet, and big enough to share, if you are feeling generous. Small-town bakeries across the state are rolling out cinnamon rolls by hand, from an Amish kitchen in Jamesport to a Main Street storefront in Webb City.
Each stop on this list does something a little different, so you can plan a whole winter of weekend drives around them. Grab a friend, check the hours, and get there before the trays run low.
1. CinnaRoller, Webb City, MO

Most bakeries treat the cinnamon roll as one item on a long menu. At CinnaRoller in Webb City, it is basically the whole menu, and that is the fun of it.
The shop specializes in a wide range of cinnamon rolls, both sweet and savory. Racks inside the downtown storefront hold rolls in all sorts of flavors, made fresh, with strawberry cheesecake and s’mores standing out as crowd favorites.
Early risers get a real advantage here. Doors open at 5:30 AM Monday through Saturday and stay open until 5:30 PM, so a pre-dawn coffee and roll run is completely doable.
The bakery sits right on Main Street at 10 S Main St, with free street parking nearby. There is a drive-through too, which is handy on the iciest January mornings.
Plan for a quick grab-and-go visit, since there is no restroom on site. Saturday afternoons get busy, so I would aim for the morning if you want the best pick of flavors.
2. The Cinnamon Nook – A Small Batch Bakery, Branson, MO

Watching your breakfast get made is half the entertainment at The Cinnamon Nook. A window lets guests see the cinnamon rolls being rolled and prepped in small batches.
The Original Cinnamon Roll is the headliner, and the bakery pairs its rolls with premium ice cream. That combo makes it a stop for both morning coffee and an after-dinner treat.
Timing matters here. Mornings run from 8 to 11:30 AM every day, and Thursday through Saturday the shop reopens in the evening, until 9 PM Thursday and 10 PM on Friday and Saturday.
Those evening hours make it a smart pick after a Branson show. A warm cinnamon roll with a scoop of ice cream is a solid way to end a winter night out.
You will find it at 3000 Green Mountain Dr, Suite 108, with a free parking lot and a restroom. The space is clean and cute, built for a quick visit rather than a long linger.
3. Gingerich Dutch Pantry, Jamesport, MO

Jamesport is home to the largest Old Order Amish community in Missouri, and the village has only about 500 residents. Gingerich Dutch Pantry gives visitors a delicious way to experience that heritage.
The bakery side turns out pies, pastries, breads, and cinnamon rolls, all homemade with Amish roots. The rolls are sweet and generous, and the bread earns just as much attention.
Hungry for more than dessert? The restaurant serves a fried chicken buffet, an Amish dinner, and a salad bar, plus a strawberry rhubarb pie that is a local specialty.
Saturday is the best winter day to go, since the doors open at 7 AM for breakfast and stay open until 7 PM. Weekdays run 10:30 AM to 5 PM, with Fridays stretching to 8 PM, and Sundays are closed.
It is family-friendly, with high chairs and a kids’ menu. Reservations are not accepted, and Saturday mornings fill up fast.
Frozen dinners are available too, so you can carry a little Jamesport home. I would grab a pan of cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning while you are at it.
4. Almost Amish Bread Company llc, Nevada, MO

Bread is the main job at Almost Amish Bread Company, and that shows in every cinnamon roll. The Nevada bakery specializes in sourdough, yeast breads, and quick breads.
The cinnamon rolls come topped with cream cheese icing, and they are a big reason people keep coming back. Cinnamon bread is on the menu too, if you want that flavor in sliceable form.
The rest of the lineup is worth a look. English muffins, bagels, blueberry scones, cookies, and wheat sandwich bread round things out, along with a jalapeño bread for anyone craving a little heat.
Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 6 AM to 2 PM. That early close means this is a morning mission, so do not wait until after lunch.
The shop is at 204 W Cherry St, near Nevada’s historic downtown square, with free street parking. Stocking up on a loaf for the week is the move here.
5. Ozark Winds Bake Shop, Tunas, MO

Tunas has fewer than 200 residents, so a full-fledged bake shop on State Road E is a pleasant surprise. Ozark Winds Bake Shop is the kind of country stop that makes a winter back-road drive feel worthwhile.
Cinnamon rolls come by the pack, which is perfect for a weekend at home. The shelves also hold bread, cookies, donuts, soft pretzels, brownies, danishes, pastries, and mini pies.
Value is a big part of the appeal. A haul of pretzels, bread, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and pies can still come in under $50.
It is takeout only, with no dine-in seating and no restroom. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM.
I would save this one for a Saturday drive through Dallas County. Bring a cooler bag and a plan for sharing.
6. Hayley’s Eatery, Weston, MO

Size is the first thing to know about the cinnamon roll at Hayley’s Eatery. It is huge, so consider splitting one, or not.
The Weston spot is a bakery and breakfast cafe serving farm-fresh meals and house-made baked goods. The pastry lineup changes almost daily, which gives regulars a reason to keep checking in.
Weston itself is a historic Missouri River town known for its preserved 19th-century Main Street. Hayley’s sits outside town at 17985 MO-45, with a free parking lot.
Hours are short, so plan ahead. It is open Wednesday through Friday from 7 AM to 1:30 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Guests can dine in or take out, and there is free Wi-Fi, good coffee, and a gender-neutral restroom with a changing table. It closes out this list with a sit-down breakfast feel, which is exactly what a cold Saturday calls for.
