Taco Bell’s Baja Blast Twists might be coming to a Taco Bell near you. And this time, they’re better than ever.

2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Taco Bell. Everything started back in February during their Live Más LIVE where they announced a ton of exciting new menu items coming this year. The Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap was a huge success and went extremely viral when it was first announced. The next big thing that made a huge splash was their line of Baja Blast flavored items. Mountain Dew Baja Blast is an iconic flavor on its own. So imagine the excitement when Taco Bell announced we’re getting three new Baja Blast items. We’re getting the Baja Blast Pie and the Baja Blast Gelato soon. And it looks like we’re finally getting the Baja Blast Twists as well.

Everyone got to try the Baja Blast Twists during Taco Bell’s Live Más LIVE event. But back then, they had a considerably mild flavor. This time, Taco Bell brought them back but with a new upgrade. These new and improved Baja Blast Twists really capture that signature Baja Blast flavor and makes it stand out. These were recently made available at the exclusive menu on Taco Bell’s The Cantinas, which is an early retirement community. Given that these were brought back six months after they were first introduced, it’s highly likely that Taco Bell could be testing the market once more and preparing for a nationwide launch soon.

While we still don’t have any official release date, the Baja Blast Twists are still slated for a 2024 release. So until then, we can expect to try the new Baja Blast Pie and Baja Blast Gelato coming out soon which will be dropping around the end of August and early September, respectively.

Baja Blast Items

Baja Blast is one of the most popular flavors in the world of fast food. Ever since it was introduced back in 2004 as the first ever franchise exclusive soda flavor, Mountain Dew Baja Blast has grown to have its own cult following. Its distinct tropical lime flavor made it an instant hit among customers and continues to gain fans to this day. So when Taco Bell first revealed they were dropping a set of Mountain Dew Baja Blast flavored items, everyone went crazy. Apart from the Baja Blast Twists, let’s take a look at the other Baja Blast flavored items from Taco Bell coming soon.

Baja Blast Pie

Baja Blast Pie

Baja Blast isn’t exactly the first flavor that would come to mind if you’re coming up with new pie flavors. But that’s exactly what Taco Bell decided to do when they announced this new limited-time dessert. The Baja Blast Pie essentially captures that tropical lime flavor and encases it in a crunchy graham cracker crust. It’s been described as having a smooth texture and a buttery curd. Based on people’s reactions, the Baja Blast is looking like a massive hit before it even gets a nationwide release.

If you want something sweeter and better enjoyed on a warm day, then you’ll want to try this Baja Blast treat from Taco Bell. The Baja Blast Gelato takes the iconic flavor and turns it into a creamy, frozen treat. Just like the drink it was based on; this dessert is refreshing and has a vibrant blue-green color. It has actually been tested before at select locations and was received pretty well. Now, we’re just waiting on it for its full release this September.

Taco Bell‘s Baja Blast items have been the talk of the town ever since they were first revealed as part of their lineup of upcoming 2024 items. I haven’t tried any of them but I’m definitely looking forward to getting a taste as soon as they get a release. Out of all of them thought, the Baja Blast Twists are the most intriguing. Baja Blast is something inherently sweet so I can imagine it working well on a pie or on gelato. But on Taco Bell’s Twists? That’s pretty interesting.
