She also confirmed that they’ve already thought ahead and prepared “a ridiculous number of wieners” for this year’s comeback so there’s no way fans will miss out this time around.
The enthusiasm for the Whistle Dog sparked the creation of an 18-minute short documentary called “Bring Back The Whistle Dog.” The award-winning mini docufilm features fan interviews and discusses how the Whistle Dog has made a lasting cultural impact. I’m not the biggest fan of pork but I make an exception for the Whistle Dog. It’s definitely up there in my top 3 favorite hot dogs. TBH, just looking at it and all its toppings makes my heart flutter (that cucumber relish is just!). That mini docufilm is no joke either, it really resonates with you. No wonder it won an award. I’m thrilled that the Whistle Dog is back on the menu even if it’s just for a little while. It was a long wait but now that it’s here again, you better believe I’ll be savoring this wiener while supplies last.
