Ice cream fans, get ready! Ben & Jerry’s is bringing back a beloved tradition. Since 1979, they’ve been saying a big “thank you” to their customers with Free Cone Day. It started as a way to thank everyone for supporting Ben & Jerry’s during their first year. This tasty event turned into an annual treat that many people look forward to.
When is Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day?
Mark your calendars for April 16th! If you visit a Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop on this day, between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., you can get a free cone with your choice of ice cream flavor. That means you can enjoy classics like Chocolate Fudge Brownie or try one of their new flavors, even a special mango one that’s only available in the shops.
Last year, after a break because of the pandemic, the company gave away more than 970,000 scoops. This year, their goal is to top one million. So, if you’re a fan of flavors like Cherry Garcia or Americone Dream, this is your chance to enjoy a scoop on the house.
