BurgerFi just threw their hat into the chicken ring by introducing a bunch of exciting new menu items and an exciting rebrand!
BurgerFi has been famous for their delicious burgers for years but right now, they may be famous for their chicken as well. They just unveiled new chicken menu items that are so good they’ll be rebranding from BurgerFi to ChickenFi. This is a bold move that firmly announces their arrival in the super competitive chicken market. The changes are set to take place on May 21, 2024. ChickenFi will introduce a variety of chicken options that are available each and everyday including Sundays.
ChickenFi’s new and updated menu will now feature Fried and Grilled Chicken Sandwiches that are made with antibiotic-free chicken cooked sous-vide to ensure the meat is moist, tender, and is of the highest quality. Customers have the option to choose between a chicken grilled to perfection or a chicken hand-breaded and fired till it’s juicy, golden-brown. Both of them are served with fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, and honey mustard.
It doesn’t end there though. ChickenFi has more chicken dishes in store for us. Alongside the Chicken Sandwiches, they are also offering Jumbo Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, and Grilled Chicken Bowls made from fresh, never-frozen, and cage-free chickens. The best part? You can enjoy these chicken dishes with sides of Fresh-Cut Fries or hand-battered Onion Rings.
As if all that wasn’t enough, ChicknFi is also releasing a new, limited-time dessert to compliment all its new chicken dishes. It’s called the Chicken + Waffles Shake. It’s only exclusive to their Lauderdale-By-the-Sea location and the Better Burger Lab in NYC, but this dessert sounds absolutely delicious. It features Vanilla Frozen Custard and Pancake Maple Syrup, topped with a chicken tender and a mini waffle for dunking.

To celebrate the new brand launch, ChickenFi is giving out a promotional deal on gift cards. For every $25 spent on gift cards, customers will receive a $10 bonus card, available through June 17, 2024. Gift cards can be purchased online, in-store, or via the ChickenFi app.
Looks like things are shaping up nicely for BurgerFi, I mean, ChickenFi this summer.
From Burgers to a Chicken Revolution
BurgerFi wasn’t always the big fast food chain it is today. In fact, it’s relatively young compared to other well-known burger brands in the market. First starting in 2011 in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, BurgerFi made a name for themselves by providing high quality, fresh, and all-natural ingredients that are both delicious and sustainable. It was founded by John Rosatti and Lee Goldberg who focused more on burgers made from Angus beef free from hormones and antibiotics that are locally sourced. This unique and eco-friendly approach made them popular and rise through the ranks of burger chains in America.

Over the years, they’ve reached massive success because of their amazing burgers. Until today. Today marks the turning point for BurgerFi as they made the bold decision to expand their menu to include chicken and officially rebranded as ChickenFi. Of all the menu items, you may be wondering, why chicken? The demand for healthier, white meat options was skyrocketing, and ChickenFi saw an opportunity to set itself apart by offering antibiotic-free, sous-vide prepared chicken. This method ensured their new chicken dishes were moist, tender, and bursting with flavor.
This dedication to quality and freshness will continue with ChickenFi. Their new chicken dishes are made with the same care and attention, ensuring a delicious and satisfying meal.

Chicken Takes Center Stage
ChickenFi isn’t just changing its name; it’s revolutionizing its entire menu. The new chicken items aren’t just a sideshow but a main attraction. From The Club
Now THIS is how you make a statement. BurgerFi made a pretty gutsy move rebranding to ChickenFi to further promote their brand new chicken menu items. BurgerFi has served up nothing but good food for years and with this new announcement, there’s no reason to believe that anything will change. I’m pretty excited myself because this whole rebrand shows just how confident they are about their new additions. How will it stack up against heavy hitters like KFC and Chick-fil-A though? Well, we’re about to find out.
