Looks like Jack in the Box fans are about to celebrate two exciting mini events. First up: the mini-moon. And to honor it, Jack in the Box drops a limited-time Mini Churros offer!
In a rare celestial event, an asteroid will be orbiting the Earth for two months before returning to an asteroid belt that revolves around the sun. Looks like our OG moon will soon have a companion, and Jack in the Box thought you should have one too! That’s why the fast food chain came up with an exciting offer: free Mini Churros for a limited-time.

Starting September 29, 2024, Jack in the Box will offer free Mini Churros with any order via its app, in honor of the mini-moon event. The promo will last until the duration of the orbit and to qualify, you need to use the code MINIMOON.
The Mini Churros came to Jack in the Box’s menu in 2018. Since then, it has become a favorite item of those who want a little something sweet after a meal. It features bite-sized pastries with a delicious cinnamon sugar filling and a satisfying crunch. The Mini Churros is originally priced at $3.19.
The limited-time free Mini Churros promo reflects Jack in the Box’s commitment to offering fun, little treats that upgrade the fast food experience. Last summer, the brand also released the Mini Chimi Bang Bangs, in honor of the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Offering these small yet mighty food items is Jack in the Box’s way of providing big value through craveable mini-munchies.

Try Jack in the Box’s New Gamer Box
Here’s another initiative Jack in the Box is known for: empowering the entire gaming community. Jack in the Box kind of proved this when they hired Kodie Turner as head Twitch creator, also known as Gamer Jack. He started the gig by streaming every week, challenging gamers to win Jack in the Box rewards.

This time, the fast food chain solidifies its support for gamers by releasing the Red Bull Gamer Box. Jack in the Box team understands that gaming and snacking go hand-in-hand, and so this new item offers the XP boost needed for long gaming sessions. The brand-new gaming box includes:
- Two tacos
- 13 tiny tacos
- Seasoned curly fries in medium size
- Hot and salty French fries in medium size
- Dipping sauce in two flavors: buttermilk ranch and creamy avocado lime
- One can of Red Bull (sugar-free variant is also available)
The Red Bull Gamer Box is available for a limited time at all participating Jack in the Box locations. It costs $10.01, but the price may vary by location.

Jack in the Box’s Surprises This 2024
When you thought Jack in the Box is done surprising its fans, it comes back with more tricks up its sleeves. Talk about a brand truly living up to its name! This 2024, we’ve seen a lot of Jack in the Box in fast food news, shaking up diners’ experiences and introducing new treats. Here are some of the latest menu innovations from the fast food brand:
New Burger After 8 Years
In early January 2024, Jack in the Box rolled out a new menu item called the Smashed Jack burger, and it was a smash hit! They took two long years to perfect the recipe, and the burger was expected to be available for six weeks. Surprisingly, it got sold out in two weeks; diners couldn’t find it anywhere. That didn’t last for long though, because it’s now back on the menu with two variants: Classic Smashed Jack and Bacon Double Smashed Jack. There’s no telling if they will take these off the menu again, so you better get the juicy treats!
A Value Menu of Munchies
For lovers of menus with big value energy, Jack in the Box also released Jack’s Munchies Under $4 Menu last June. This allows the fast food chain to satisfy cravings while leaving some extra cash to your pocket. The under $4 menu features a wide variety of snack-sized options including the Jr. Jumbo Jack, tiny tacos, French toast sticks, sourdough grilled cheese, and so much more.
Halloween-Themed Treats
Of course, Jack in the Box didn’t forget about the spooky season. They welcomed back the Monster Tacos with a new variant: the Mummy Wrapped Taco. These items still have all the stuff we love about Jack in the Box tacos, only bigger. By the way, the Mummy Wrapped Taco is described to be much tastier because of the added nacho cheese and bacon. It’s a true rival of last year’s Angry Monster Taco!
The spooky treats don’t end there. Jack in the Box also released a brand-new limited-time drink: Witch Please Shake. You notice how the purple color always pops up with witches? Well, you’re getting that vibrant hue with this new shake, thanks to its sweet ube flavors. And not just that, it also features OREO cookie pieces, so you’ll be getting that choco goodness and crumbly texture.
Smoky, Cheesy Limited-Time Burgers
After the release and comeback of Smashed Jack burger, will Jack in the Box repeat history? It’s for you to find out when you try the new Smoke Show Cheeseburger! The catch is you can only get this item at San Diego, California. Its Bacon Double Smoke Show Cheeseburger variant has two beef patties, doubling the savory fun. It also carries the Smoke House sauce that should give a deep, comforting taste. The Smoke Show Cheeseburger can be ordered as part of a combo meal. We suggest you get that to make your San Diego trip worthwhile (if you’re not from the area)!

From The Club
They always say prepare for the unexpected…but how can you do that if Jack in the Box is so good at making surprises? All jokes aside, I probably won’t get tired of this fast food chain. They have the classics I could always go back to if feeling nostalgic and new treats to try if I’m being a little adventurous. Their free Mini Churros really made me smile. It’s perfect for people like me who love bite-sized sweet snacks, and the option to get it free is a huge plus!
