For those who love fresh and healthy meals, Just Salad has teamed up with celebrity chef Marc Forgione. They made a super delicious spring salad called the ‘Chopped Mezze,’ and it’s going to be available in Just Salad locations and through their app for delivery till late June.

Chef Forgione, a super talented Michelin-starred chef, is excited to share his take on the Greek Salad – a dish full of fresh flavors for everyone to enjoy this spring. Chef Forgione owns Respect Hospitality Group, which includes his own restaurant. He’s the youngest chef/owner in NYC to get a Michelin star.

The Chopped Mezze salad at Just Salad is made with a mix of supergreens, organic chickpeas, cucumbers, pickled onions, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and hmp hearts. This salad brings two new items to the menu for a limited time: Kalamata olives and dried oregano.

Jhonny Castro, culinary director at Just Salad, says partnerships with chefs are important for offering healthy, tasty options. Forgione was a great fit because he cares about fresh, quality ingredients and creating flavorful recipes.

The Chopped Mezze is one of four new items on the menu until late June. The other new dishes are:

  • Protein Power Bowl: Romaine lettuce, baby spinach, oven-roasted chicken, “Jammy Egg,” avocado, black lentils, roasted corn, pickled onions, carrots, pumpkin seeds with Tajin spice, hmp hearts, and cilantro lime vinaigrette.
  • Peruvian Chicken Bowl: Brown rice, shredded kale, braised chicken, cotija cheese, avocado, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled onions, roasted corn, Furikake Shake, “Green Aji Sauce,” and lime.
  • BBQ Shroom Bowl: Mix of greens and brown rice, “Fable BBQ Shiitake” mushrooms, roasted sweet potatoes, miso kale slaw, sesame edamame mix, and miso ginger vinaigrette.

Just Salad also teamed up with Fable Food Co. from Australia to offer the Fable BBQ Shiitake mushrooms in the BBQ Shroom Bowl. This bowl has 16g of protein and includes other spring ingredients like sesame edamame mix and miso kale slaw.

This isn’t the first time Just Salad has worked with famous NYC chefs. They’ve partnered with Amanda Cohen and Melissa Ben-Ishay from Baked by Melissa before.
