Coca-Cola and Pepsi has a long standing rivalry that goes back as far as we can remember. They constantly competed against each other, trying to come up with better flavors and securing strategic partnerships with other businesses. Pepsi recently launched their Peach and Lime flavors for the summer season. But Coca-Cola isn’t one to take this lying down. In fact, they have their own peach-flavored soda coming out soon.

Just when the Sprite Remix Aruba Jam was released at Wendy’s on May 1, customers at Zaxby’s also noticed a fruity option for a soda on the menu. Available through the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at Zaxby’s, Peach Coca-Cola and Peach Coca-Cola Zero debuted as exclusives but only for the month of May at this particular chain.

After May 30, the new Peach Coca-Cola will begin rolling out nationwide at any place with a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, including various restaurants and movie theaters. Despite Coke not yet confirming if this new flavor will be a mainstay in the Freestyle lineup, it’s still exciting news for fans who loved the Georgia Peach Coke from 2018.

While the new Peach Coca-Cola isn’t exactly the same as the Georgia Peach Coke, it will still satisfy your peach flavored cravings. Some fans even expressed their excitement and anticipation on popular social media sites like Reddit, reminiscing about the flavor and eagerly waiting for its return.

If there are no Zaxby’s locations near you, don’t worry you wouldn’t have to wait too long. You can enjoy Peach Coca-Cola at a fast food restaurant near you soon. It will be worth the wait.

In the meantime, lots of customers are talking about what new or returning flavors are coming out for fast food chains in the coming months. Keep an eye out for these updates and find out what other unique flavors may be heading your way.

The Journey of Coca-Cola’s Flavor Innovations

Coca-Cola is arguably the biggest brand of cola and soft drink manufacturer today. It has a very rich history that goes back all the way to the 19th century. Did you know that back then, Coca-Cola was actually sold as a medicine? That’s right! When John S. Pemberton created the original Coca-Cola formula in 1886, it was being sold as a medicinal elixir. It didn’t take long before it found its place in the hearts of the general public and became the beverage we know it today.

Coca-Cola’s Newest Fruity Sensation

Coca-Cola is no stranger to flavor experimentation, with a history of introducing new tastes to delight customers. The launch of Peach Coca-Cola adds a fresh twist to the carbonated classic. This isn’t the first time Coca-Cola has dabbled with peach – in 2018, they introduced the Georgia Peach Coke, a nod to the state’s famous fruit.

The introduction of Peach Coca-Cola also highlights the ongoing creativity around Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, which offer a customizable drink experience at restaurants and movie theatres. These machines have become hubs of beverage innovation, allowing customers to mix and match a variety of flavors.

As excitement builds, soda fans on platforms like Reddit are sharing their anticipation, discussing what makes this flavor special and reminiscing about past favorites. With the flavor set to become available nationwide after a limited run at Zaxby’s, many are eagerly marking their calendars.

In addition to the new peach flavor, there are whisperings of other unique flavors and menu updates to come from both beverage brands and fast food chains. As soda enthusiasts wonder if Peach Coca-Cola will secure a permanent spot in the Freestyle lineup, it’s clear that the soda war between Coca-Cola and Pepsi remains as effervescent as ever.

From The Club

You can always count on Coca-Cola to bring their A-game when it comes to making new flavors for their sodas. They haven’t missed so far and if the Georgia Peach Coke was any indication, it looks like the new Peach Coca-Cola will be just as good. I haven’t had the chance to try it at a Zaxby’s near me where it’s currently being exclusively served. We won’t have to wait too long though, since it would be available in most fast food chains by the end of May.
