Get ready, Freddy’s fans! Your favorite restaurant is about to drop something prime and creamy to their menu. After tons of releases this 2024, the fast food chain is back with another treat – and it’s about to get better.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers announce a new addition to their menu: Prime Steakburger and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Concrete.
But, why should you be excited about these upcoming releases? Known for their steakburger sandwiches, the Prime Steakburger is filled with thin-sliced prime rib stacked in premium steakburger with melted Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and portobello mushroom.
The Prime Steakburger is best paired with the new Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Concrete, a frozen vanilla custard mixed with Reese’s peanut butter sauce and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. The custard is then topped with caramel sauce and whipped cream to cool you down, that’s a real sweet and refreshing treat we have there!
Aside from that, another favorite to look out for is the return of their Reese’s Creamy Peanut Butter Shake, made with frozen vanilla custard, Reese’s peanut butter sauce, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
I know you’re all excited, but we would have to wait for its release on July 3 at all participating Freddy’s chains nationwide. You can order it via drive-thru, dine in, the Freddy’s mobile app, or on their website. The limited edition menu is made available until August 20.
Let’s Talk About The Difference Between A Concrete And Shake
I do hear you. The Reese’s desserts that were recently added to Freddy’s menu looks like they have the same ingredients, but they are actually different in terms of texture.
Shakes are like melted ice cream that you can drink using a straw or a spoon. The milk or cream added to the shake would determine its thinness or thickness. Meanwhile, the Concrete, on the other hand, is made of frozen custard blended with hard toppings such as cookies, chocolate, and fruit.
While Freddy’s may have included the frozen custard in their shake, note that the custard is blended with the other ingredients, while the concrete’s base is the vanilla custard itself.

Freddy’s Limited Releases This 2024
Freddy’s is off to a fresh start with their new food items, and we can’t wait for more! Check out the other releases that graced their lineup this year:
Summer Menu
On May 17, Freddy’s brought back their fan-favorite Pretzel Bacon BBQ Steakburger. It is filled with two steakburger patties with melted American cheese, crispy bacon, and onion sandwiched on a toasted pretzel bun with bourbon BBQ sauce and Fat Tire Beer Cheese.
Freddy’s also introduced the Lemon Cream and Orange Cream as summer coolers, both made with vanilla custard. If you’re down to try these releases, you can do so until the 2nd week of July 2024.
Twix Salted Caramel Concrete
This sweet treat is made with vanilla frozen custard mixed with Twix Cookie Bars, crushed pretzels, and drizzled with caramel sauce. This dessert was available from April 3 to May 7. Here’s to hoping that Freddy’s will release it again in the near future.
Deluxe Crispy Fish Sandwich
Made for seafood lovers out there, the Deluxe Crispy Sandwich is filled with a crispy flounder with homemade tartar sauce, lettuce, pickles, and melted American cheese wrapped in a toasted bun. This was a release for the seafood season until April 2. We do hope to get a taste of this crispy fresh catch, maybe Freddy’s might release it again next year?

As a sweet tooth and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups lover, I’m excited to try the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Concrete and Peanut Butter Shake. Freddy’s loves collaborating with chocolate brands, and I’ll be here waiting for the next one.
