There’s a burger making a triumphant return at McDonald’s this summer!
McDonald’s is no stranger to bringing back limited-time items. They’ve released lots of previous menu items before that they regularly bring back due to their enduring popularity like the McRib. So back in 2022, McDonald’s released a burger at select locations that quickly became a hit. Sadly, it was taken off the menu and was never heard from again. Until today.
Two fan-favorite burgers are coming back to the McDonald’s summer menu this July. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder and the Smoky BLT Double Quarter Pounder have been announced as the latest limited-time offerings from McDonald’s. These burgers swap traditional pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard for crispy bacon strips, lettuce, fresh-cut juicy tomatoes, and a special creamy sauce with a smoky flavor. It contains a 100% fresh beef quarter pound patty, two slices of melty American cheese, thick cut applewood smoked bacon, juicy Roma tomatoes, shredded lettuce, smoky sauce and a toasted sesame seed bun. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder can also be upgraded to a double, featuring two quarter-pound patties.
It’s safe to say that this certainly puts McDonald’s above their competition when it comes to a main entree release this summer. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Smoky BLT Double Quarter Pounder would be available at all McDonald’s locations in the country on July 10, 2024.
So what are you waiting for? Line up at McDonald’s and give these returning burgers a try! Who knows, these might be your next favorite burger. Better act fast though, since these items are only up for a limited-time.

McDonald’s Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry combines the sweetness and goodness of Kit Kat and Banana Split into one cup. McDonald’s previously released a Kit Kat McFlurry and a Banana Split McFlurry before but this one right here combines the best of both worlds.
$5 Meal Deal + Free Fries Friday
When it comes to value meals, you really can’t top McDonald’s. They’ve been coming out with some of the best deals for years and this season, they’re releasing a new one to shake things up. For only $5, you can get a full meal at McDonald’s. You can choose between McDouble or McChicken, and then add small fries, four piece chicken nuggets, and a small soft drink. Additionally, McDonald’s will also be giving out free Medium sized fries every Friday with any purchase made through the McDonald’s app for the rest of 2024.

After a long wait, McDonald’s has finally released the other half of their summer menu. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder sounds absolutely delicious! It’s an excellent twist on a classic menu item. Personally, I really do enjoy the Quarter Pounder. It’s basically my go to and my favorite sandwich at McDonald’s ever since. I never really thought about how the classic Quarter Pounder could be improved. Then this came along, and all my expectations were blown away. The new smoky BLT sauce really is a game changer. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder is one of the best sandwiches to come out this summer.
