We’re nearing the end of April, yet more fast food chains are releasing new menu items and deals to welcome a new month. First, we’ve got Sonic offering a $1 deal for Smasher week. Also, National Pretzel Week is coming this 27th, so Pretzelmaker is offering a deal for all of you pretzel lovers out there. Looking for new releases? Rita’s is introducing a new flavor for three of their icy cold desserts!

Pretzelmaker
Craving for pretzels? Well, your cravings align with National Pretzel Day, which we’ll celebrate on April 27, 2025. This is your chance to snag Pretzelmaker, innovator of Pretzel Bites, a fan-favorite deal! Mark your calendars, as on April 26, 2025, you can get a free order of Small Original Pretzel Bites (Salted or Unsalted) at participating locations nationwide.
There are even more twists this year as Pretzelmaker throws a “National Pretzel Day After Party.” To join, you must sign up for Pretzelmaker’s Rewards App by 11:59 p.m. on April 26. You will then receive a $5 off when you order $20 or more worth of menu items starting April 27. What’s great about this is that the offer is valid for 14 days, and you can choose to redeem it online or in-store.

Rita’s
Summer is fast approaching, and Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has created a treat to welcome the warmer (and hotter) months ahead. The brand is shaking up their flavor lineup by introducing the new Cola Italian Ice, which is inspired by the iconic soda. This flavor will take you back to the timeless taste of old-school cola you used to chug during summertime. The great news is that the flavor has been available at all Rita’s locations for a limited time since April 21!
Like any other chain, Rita’s is also embracing innovation through their new Twisted Cola Blender drink, which is inspired by the viral trend that has taken social media by storm. Now, this new flavor was created by combining the taste of the new Cola Ice in a drink form and topped with CocoLime cream, which is a sweet and creamy coconut lime flavor. You can also enjoy it for a limited time! Are you a Gelati lover? Then, you’ll probably love the Cola Ice in Cola Float Gelati, which is made out of layers of Cola Ice plus Vanilla Frozen Custard.
Madalyn Weintraub, Senior Director of Marketing at Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, recognized that social media is buzzing with beverage experimentation, which inspired those behind the new flavored treats. They added Rita’s identity to it to bring the trend into their own style. Weintraub said that the Cola lineup embraces Rita’s timeless flavors and blends them with today’s trends to create new products for their fans.
But that’s not all of the exciting news we’ve got for Rita’s. Download the Rita’s app by May 4, 2025, for a special cola-tastic reward! You can enjoy a buy-one, get-one Twisted Cola Blender to receive a small one for free! Just redeem the one-time-use reward from your app account. Sonic
Sonic just named their Smasher as the “Smashional Cheeseburger of America” to challenge “mediocre and overpriced” fast food cheeseburgers. With that, they’re inviting fans nationwide to experience a better burger through the Smasher Week. It is where the first 1 million fans who get to order a Double Smasher through the brand’s app or website get to receive an exclusive reward of enjoying a $1 premium cheeseburger.
To score the $1 deal, open your app and website, then go over to the Deals section to redeem your reward and place your order. Again, this offer will be limited to the first 1 million customers until supplies last.
Want a bite of Sonic’s Double Smash Burger? This filling burger is packed with two seasoned and seared Angus beef patties that are layered with two slices of melted American cheese. There’s also some diced onions, crinkle-cut pickles, and Sonic’s signature Smasher sauce that are served on a soft potato bun.
Grab the $1 Smas burger deal as it is available nationwide at participating Sonic locations, but for a limited time or while supplies last. It will run from April 21 to April 27, 2025.
