Costco Sells the Popular Item That Flies Off Shelves at Trader Joe’s

Costco’s Fried Tofu & Vegetable Kimbap has entered the scene, challenging Trader Joe’s version, which is known for selling out. For those who might not be familiar, Kimbap is a delightful Korean-style dish similar to sushi. It consists of rice and various fillings, such as vegetables or ground meat, wrapped in seaweed.

The Fried Tofu & Vegetable Kimbap was spotted at Costco by the Instagram account costoffs, which shared a video revealing the product in the store’s freezer section. The generous package offers six rolls, perfect for satisfying cravings. Reviews on the Instagram post were overwhelmingly positive, with comments expressing excitement about trying the Costco version. Some fans even declared they prefer it over Trader Joe’s kimbap.

Priced at $18.79 for an 8-ounce bag, the Kimbap was found by an Instagram user in Santa Clara, CA. People from other locations such as San Marcos, CA, and Fife, WA, also reported spotting it at their local Costco stores. Yet, many who live on the East Coast and in the Midwest mentioned that they hadn’t seen it in their areas. The Instagram poster suggested calling local stores with the item number to check availability.

With all the enthusiasm surrounding Costco’s Fried Tofu & Vegetable Kimbap, fans are hopeful that Costco will be able to keep it in stock longer than Trader Joe’s typically does.

From The Club:

I’m intrigued by Costco’s new Fried Tofu & Vegetable Kimbap. It sounds like a delicious and convenient option for a quick meal or snack. With positive reviews praising its flavor and easy preparation, I’m eager to give it a try. Hopefully, Costco can keep it stocked longer than Trader Joe’s version tends to stay on shelves.
