Easily the best thing about summer are the summer menus! We’re definitely feasting this season with all the new releases from all our favorite fast food chains. We got new entrees, new drinks, and best of all, new desserts! This summer, Crumbl is stepping up their game with a brand new item. While they’re still a little quiet on the details, this could be the game changing dessert we’ve been waiting for.
Crumbl is currently testing a new cup of Banana Pudding at select locations. The best part? You can participate in the testing and get an exclusive taste of their new dessert! The way to do this is by checking the Crumbl app and go under locations and then click “testing cookies” to see if it’s available at a location near you. Crumbl’s Banana Pudding mix contains vanilla pudding that’s filled to the brim with bananas and vanilla wafers. It even comes in a cute Crumbl cup!
Let’s be honest, we’ve all been waiting for Chick-fil-A’s infamous Banana Pudding. But Crumbl may beat them to the punch with their own take on the iconic dessert. Coming up with something new is the whole culture of Crumbl Cookies. It’s why they have a rotating set of cookies that changes every week. They want to give their customers only the best and newest flavors they can come up with. They’re always pushing the boundaries when it comes to flavor and see how far they can take a simple cookie. So, what’s new at Crumbl?
Strawberry Shortcake
Crumbl teased this berry special dessert back in May, when it was rumored to be tested in select Crumbl locations. But now, we can confirm that it’s finally been released at all locations as part of their lineup this week for the Fourth of July. It’s essentially a double-stacked vanilla cake with layers of fresh whipped cream and house-made strawberry jam.
German Chocolate Cake and Lemon Blackberry Cake
Speaking of being tested, Crumbl is also testing these two new cakes at select locations. Crumbl really loves to test the market for their new products which is definitely a good business practice. It drives up buzz and they get valuable feedback before a nationwide rollout. Based on people’s reactions in social media, both of these cakes are absolutely delicious. The German Chocolate Cake features two layers of moist chocolate cake with creamy coconut-pecan topping and the addition of a rich chocolate cream cheese frosting. On the other hand, the Lemon Blackberry Cake features two layers of lemon poppy seed cake with blackberry cream cheese frosting and blackberry jam topping.Â

There’s plenty of desserts released this summer so let’s take a look at which ones are the must try items for this season.
Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry
The McFlurry is a classic dessert we all know and love. It’s been around for more than 20 years and has made its way into the list of best items you can get at McDonald’s. Every now and then, McDonald’s would release a brand new flavor that just shakes up everything we know about the McFlurry. This summer, they’re combining two well-known desserts into one delicious package. The Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry features a blend of their creamy vanilla soft serve with pieces of Kit Kat, banana flavor, and other toppings reminiscent of a classic banana split.
Baja Blast Pie
Taco Bell is also having an amazing year this 2024 with the release of new groundbreaking menu items. One of their latest creations is the Baja Blast Pie. Mountain Dew Baja Blast has been a cult favorite among fans ever since it was first introduced. Now, Taco Bell is pushing boundaries by having the exclusive flavor appear on a typical pie. The Baja Blast Pie is quite literally a splash of Mountain Dew Baja Blast but in pie form.

Chick-fil-A who, am I right? Crumbl is breaking the internet with the buzz surrounding their Banana Pudding. Banana pudding is such a fantastic dessert and definitely a staple during the summer. Chick-fil-A first made waves with their banana pudding but it looks like Crumbl will steal all their thunder and just might find more success with their own take on the same product. We can’t say for sure what will happen but we can try Crumbl’s Banana Pudding for ourselves by checking the app.
