Crumbl Cookies is out with a new cake, and at this point, we already know the drill—Crumbl releases a new cake or non-cookie item, but the catch is that it’s only available in select locations. The cookie brand does this as a way to test products before making anything official. While new menu items are definitely a reason to get excited, this kind of news often comes off as bittersweet. We get it, it hurts to get excited only to find out your nearby Crumbl is not participating in the test. Don’t worry though, we’re here to let you know where you might find Crumbl’s latest creation before you make that trip to your local chain.
The new cake that Crumbl is currently testing right now in some of their stores is a Confetti Cake that features two layers of sponge cake speckled with confetti sprinkles, topped with piped frosting and some more sprinkles.
While it has the same name as the Crumbl Confetti Cake Cookies, the cake itself doesn’t seem to appear like the cake version of the cookie. Nevertheless, if you’d like to get your hands on this new cake, here is a list of known locations participating in the product test:
Select Crumbl Test Locations for the Confetti Cake:
- Winter Park, FL
- Palm Beach Gardens, FL
- Bentonville, AR
- Jonesboro, AR
- Arcadia, AZ
- Tulsa Hills, OK
- Madison, MS
- East Greenwich, RI
Now you can walk into any of these Crumbl locations confidently, knowing that you’d walk out with the new Confetti Cake in hand.
What Fans Are Saying
Surprisingly, social media is a bit quiet right now despite the release of this new Confetti Cake from Crumbl. There is still the usual tagging of friends in the comments, as if nudging to say “Let’s go.” Some are also expressing excitement about being near one of the locations on the list. One comment says that they’ll definitely try it if the cake rolls out in California.
However, there is one comment where a fan says that the Confetti Cake is something that you could easily get at your local bakery, possibly implying that Crumbl’s version isn’t as special as previous releases like the German Chocolate Cake and Tres Leches Cake. How ever you might feel about this release, it would seem that getting to taste the cake for yourself is the only way to confirm if it’s worth it or not.

How About a Copycat Recipe?
We mentioned earlier in this post that most people don’t seem too excited about the new Confetti Cake, mainly due to the fact that it’s quite a common flavor that many bakeries do. Maybe you’re not too excited about it yourself. Understandably, once a brand has released something that wowed us, such as the Tres Leches Cake back in February, it’s hard not to continuously expect only the best from them.
If you’re particularly enthusiastic about Crumbl’s new Confetti Cake, you might find our copycat recipe of their Tres Leches Cake a more interesting topic. To give you an idea of how easy the recipe is, these are what you’ll need:
Ingredients
Cake
- 1 box of yellow or vanilla cake mix
- 1 stick of butter, melted (unsalted butter is recommended)
- 1 cup of whole milk
- 1 teaspoon of almond extract or vanilla
Tres Leches Sauce
- 1 cup of whole milk (or heavy cream)
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 can of evaporated milk (12 ounces)
Toppings
- 1 jar of maraschino cherries
- 1 can of whipping cream
- cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
For the Cake:
- Preheat the oven to 350℉. Prepare your 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. You may mix this by hand or by using a mixer. Just make sure you do not overmix.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes.
For the Tres Leches Sauce and Toppings:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the whole milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk.
- Use a fork or a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cooled cake.
- Pour your three-milk mixture evenly over the cake. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to soak.
- Remove the cake from the fridge. Finish with whipped cream, maraschino cherries, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
- Serve cold for the best taste and experience.

Tres Leches Cake is a light sponge cake that uses eggs for leavening instead of baking powder or baking soda. It’s soaked in three kinds of milk: whole milk, condensed milk, and evaporated milk. If you want to make the sauce slightly thicker, you could use heavy cream instead of whole milk. If you end up with left over cake, simply store it in an airtight container inside the fridge for up to five days. For the full recipe, click here.

From The Club
I have to agree with those saying that the new Confetti Cake kind of feels average. If I’m getting anything from Crumbl, I’d like the products to be exceptional, considering their price point. I don’t mind paying extra, but if I can get the same kind of cake elsewhere for a slightly lower price tag, then I’ll just go with that. Or if I’m really craving cake from Crumbl, then I’d definitely just make our copycat recipe of the Tres Leches Cake. I’ve tried it once and it was quite easy, since you use a boxed cake mix instead of all purpose flour. It came out great too for my first attempt!
