If you love trying out new desserts, Crumbl got your back! Aside from this week’s flavor lineup, they have new creations to tempt you!
Cookies have always been a reliable sweet treat, but even the famous cookie brand Crumbl knows there’s a wealth of dessert options to try. That’s why it has set out to test four new desserts this week at select locations.

Here are the latest creations to expect from Crumbl:
- Cherry Cheesecake: This vanilla-flavored cheesecake sits on top of a buttery crust made of graham crackers. The cherry on top is literally a cherry paired with light whipped cream.
- Brookie Pie: This new item will keep you guessing if it’s a cookie, brownie, or a pie. The Brookie Pie is an upgrade from the classic chocolate chip cookie, that is now baked with a special brownie batter. You can also find a semi-sweet chocolate drizzle and fresh vanilla bean whipped cream on top of this delightful treat!
- Orange Square: This seems like a refreshing treat that includes an orange-cinnamon base combined with cinnamon sugar. You can enjoy a burst of citrus flavor from its orange cream cheese frosting.
- Brownie Sundae: A dessert that will surely give you loads of “birthday treat” fix, this item combines an indulgent brownie with vanilla mousse. What makes it even more special is the addition of warm fudge, rainbow sprinkles, and cherry.
Curious about the locations offering these test items? Get the answers by checking the Crumbl app. Go to the “flavors” section, click on the three lines located in the upper right, and hit “testing desserts only.” Once done, you will see a map showing all the testing stores.
Most Recent Crumbl Inventions
This week’s lineup from Crumbl has two flavors that made a social media buzz. Interestingly, these are non-cookie desserts, positioning Crumbl as a brand that goes beyond serving gourmet cookies. The week isn’t over yet, so you can still grab one or both of these latest Crumbl creations:
- Beetlejuice Afterlife Cake: Crumbl and Warner Bros. teamed up to create this ghostly dessert. It’s a dark chocolate cake with two layers, featuring vanilla and dark chocolate cream cheese frosting. The Crumbl treat is finished with a special-edition Beetlejuice topper and sprinkles. What a way to celebrate the film’s release!
- Banana Bread: This moist and yummy treat owes it subtle sweetness from brown sugar and cinnamon streusel. Its light, fluffy texture is a nice change from Crumbl’s chewy cookies. Some fans already want this dessert to make a comeback even though the week isn’t over. You can try this and the Beetlejuice Afterlife Cake until September 7, 2024.

More Test Items from Crumbl
Once you try Crumbl’s crazy good inventions, you’ll keep coming back for more. If you get lucky enough to try their four new desserts, here are other treats you can expect to have a nationwide release. My fingers are crossed for the success of these must-try test items:
- Banana Pudding: Crumbl has officially joined the banana pudding craze when it released this item for testing. This pudding treat has been on the test item category twice, which could be a positive sign of an official release. The dessert combines banana pudding and vanilla wafers in layers, finished with the same wafers but crumbled.
- Crookies: This new item is a delicious mash up of croissant and semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie. Imagine a croissant sliced to make room for a baked cookie on top. What a treat! If officially released, fans will surely celebrate getting the best of both worlds: croissant’s flakiness and cookie’s gooey goodness.

I love seeing Crumbl get out of its comfort zone and be inventive with non-cookie desserts. It’s a sign that the brand is going to have an even lager fan base, which they truly deserve! As a fan myself, I won’t let the new desserts pass me by. The Brookie Pie is calling my name…and I think that the semi-sweet chocolate and vanilla bean whipped cream is a heavenly match!
