More fall flavored treats and selections are arriving soon. Are you ready to try them all?

From coffee giants like Starbucks, Dunkin’, Krispy Kreme, and Tim Hortons to big names in desserts and restaurants like Carvel, Pinkberry, and Cracker Barrel, the fast food industry is slowly getting into the autumnal spirit. Each spot is trying to top their previous fall release and for good reason; to keep their customers satisfied and coming back for more.

Before August ends, Denny’s joins the seasonal fun and brings back its famous fall special, which fans are excited about. The diner is known for its affordable prices and a wide variety of menu options, serving customers 24 hours a day, and their breakfast menu is a sure standout.

Starting August 21, Denny’s Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes will return to their menu to greet the fall season. These fluffy buttermilk pancakes are made with real pumpkin purée and glazed pecans, then topped with a delicious pecan pie sauce. The Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes debuted in 2016 and have been a fan favorite ever since, and it even sold nearly 1 million pancakes last year alone. Customers have praised the pancake for its perfect pumpkin flavor, with one TikTok reviewer giving them a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

Guests can enjoy a stack of these fall-flavored pancakes starting at $3.99. But if you’re up for a fuller meal, you can also go for the Pumpkin Pecan Slam, which comes with the pancakes, two eggs prepared to order, hash browns, and a choice of bacon or sausage for $10.49.

Mark your calendars as Denny’s Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes will be arriving on August 21, and just a little reminder, these seasonal pancakes won’t be around for long, so be sure to try them while you can.

A Closer Look Into Denny’s Palate-Pleasing Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes

If we’re looking into fall classics, then Denny’s Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes would take an honorary mention. This fall-flavored pancake has been in the diner’s seasonal rotation for 8 years and has been a fan favorite since. Now, let’s see how a morning breakfast item has taken its place as one of Denny’s menu hall of famers.

Denny’s Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes took its first bow at the America’s Diner in 2016. It featured buttermilk pancakes cooked with real pumpkin pureé, glazed pecans and topped with rich pecan pie sauce. The pancake is an ideal sweet jumpstart to your day or even a perfect afternoon pick-me-up snack. In its reintroduction last year, Denny’s Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes can be ordered as a stack for $5.99 or as part of a Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes Slam meal, alongside two eggs, golden hash browns, crispy bacon strips or sausage links for $8.99, that’s $2 less compared to this year’s Slam meal.

For over eight years, this pancake has been one of Denny’s top seasonal sellers, with nearly 1 million pancakes sold in 2023 alone. During its run, the Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes were made available for in-restaurant dining, takeout, and delivery on Dennys.com and other off-premise platforms.

From The Club

In just a day, we’ve seen news about IHOP and Denny’s pumpkin-flavored pancakes and I’m torn on which one I’m going to try first. IHOP’s Pumpkin Spice Pancakes looks exciting when I’ll pair it with the Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Cold Brew, but I’d also love to try Denny’s Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes. Both releases look delicious so I think I’d just buy a stack and do a taste comparison at home. Then, I’ll keep it a secret on which pancake wins my thumbs up.

Thanks to these fall-flavored pancake releases, Fall might become my favorite season. I’ve always got a soft spot for pancakes and all breakfast items, and if diners continue releasing fall-flavored morning treats, you’ll soon see me working with my laptop at a nearby diner rather than at a Starbucks near me.
