Big fast food releases are coming from your favorite fast food chains!
Yup, you’ve read that right! We’re getting big releases of burgers, sandwiches, dessert treats, you name it! First up, we’ve got Chick-fil-A introducing a line of Smokehouse BBQ Specials plus Pineapple Dragonfruit drinks to keep us cool this spring season. Burger King is also adding to the excitement with comeback burgers and spicy bites to go along. Subway and Wendy’s can’t say no to the challenge of fast food release as they’re rolling down what they have to offer.

Burger King
Burger King just dropped a new spring offering. The chain never lacks in its burger game, which proves what it serves on the table today. Let’s check out what they’ve got at the King’s chain:
- The Steakhouse Bacon Whopper – Everything you dreamt of for a burger is in this one. First off, you get your A1 Thick and Hearty Sauce in your patty. Aside from that, the burger is also filled with onions, bacon, and Swiss cheese. There’s a bonus of creamy peppercorn aioli that you can taste in every bite.
- Fiery Big Fish – Lent is coming, and so are the fish sandwiches! Burger King has also released their own, called the Fiery Big Fish. It features a panko-crusted fillet with tartar sauce, pickles, and lettuce, all laid down on a brioche bun. They’re made for their guests who are fasting this Lent season.
- Jalapeño Cheddar Bites – Looking for some spicy bites to munch on? Look no further with the Jalapeño Cheddar Bites, which are tiny tots filled with melty cheddar cheese and spicy jalapeño pieces. They’re perfect to pair with any burger from the menu.
The best part? You can choose a premium side option with the same size when you order a combo. The choices you have are French Fries, Onion Rings, Have-sies, Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, or Churro Fries.
You don’t have to wait for a long time, as the menu items dropped nationwide last March 6, 2025, at participating Burger King locations. However, the Fiery Big Fish is only available at select locations. Better check in with your nearest Burger King to see if they have the Fiery Big Fish available.

Chick-fil-A
Spring for Chick-fil-A means a new release of their menu items that are perfect for the warmer side. Say hello once again to the popular Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich and a new series of Pineapple Dragonfruit refreshers here to warm up your spring days. They will be available on March 17, 2025 (Monday), just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! Hurry, as these menu items are here for a limited time until supplies last.
First up on Chick-fil-A’s spring menu is the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, which has three options: Original, Spicy, and Grilled filet sandwiches. Each sandwich features crispy bacon with brown sugar and black pepper bacon. Other fillings include Colby jack cheese and lettuce, all smothered with smokey BBQ sauce as they’re placed on a toasted sweet yeast bun. You can get them in the traditional grilled filet or the new Original and Spicy options.
But that’s not all, as Chick-fil-A is also releasing a springtime special refresher featuring the sweet combination of pineapple and dragonfruit for a unique twist. Check out the perfect pair for the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich:
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade – It features Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) as a base which is combined together with Icedream. The drink is then further mixed with natural pineapple and dragonfruit flavors.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Lemonade – This drink option features everything that the Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade has, minus the Icedream.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Iced Tea – This drink features the classic iced tea with the natural flavors of pineapple and dragonfruit.
- Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy – Enjoy Chick-fil-A’s Sunjoy drink, which is a combination of lemonade and sweet tea mixed with natural flavors from pineapple and dragonfruit.
Subway
Do you love Doritos plus Subway? If you do, you’re probably one of those customers who pairs their subs with a small pack of Doritos chips. One popular hack is adding your Doritos pack as an extra filling to your sub for a crunch in every bite. Now, Subway is back with some new nachos featuring Doritos with extra toppings or, as they call it, the new Footlong Nachos, which is dropping this April.
They were recently tested as a menu item in a number of stores around the USA. What’s special about them, you ask? Well, they feature Doritos chips as a base with toppers of melted cheese triangles, meat, toppings, and additional sauces. You can change the toppings, but they must be in a fun footlong option belonging to their lineup of non-sandwich releases.
Wendy’s
Wendy’s takes their Frosty seriously, and we mean seriously! This 2025, we’re getting six new Frosty options rolling out this spring season.
First up, we’re getting the Frosty Fusions and Mixins. It is where you mix and match Frosty options to create more Frosty flavors. They’re currently testing out in Ohio, so if you’re from around or near the area, you’re in luck, as you’ll be one of the lucky Frosty fans who have tasted this newest Frosty innovation yet.
Likely around April, you’ll get the following swirl options nationwide:
- Caramel Swirl
- Brownie Butter
- Spongebob’s Under The Sea
But wait, that’s not all, as more flavors will be released soon. Streets says that they’re likely to make a nationwide appearance in May:
- Oreo Brownie Twist
- Strawberry Pop-Tarts
- Girl Scouts Thin Mints
Catch these Frosty delights when they drop at your nearest Wendy’s locations soon. You can choose to pair it with a burger or fries combo or simply create a flavor combination that Wendy’s has never done before. 👀

From The Club
These menu items are making me look forward to what March and the coming months have to offer. I’m most excited about Chick-fil-A’s Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich in Grilled. I’d also want to pair it with the Pineapple Dragonfruit Frosted Lemonade. Aside from those, Wendy’s Frosty desserts of Spongebob’s Under The Sea or the Strawberry Pop-Tarts might make every passing moment feel better. This batch of new releases has some craveable stuff, that’s for sure!
