It’s that time of the year again when fast food brands would unveil their lineup of Halloween treats. Usually, they come in the form of sweets and snacks ranging from candies, pastries, and snacks. They’re the perfect movie night snacks or trick-or-treat goodies! Halloween may still be a month away, but there’s already a Dunkin’ surprise for fans this October.
Dunkin’s 2024 Halloween special includes the following:
- Potion Macchiato (Iced or Hot) – A unique blend of marshmallow and espresso ube swirl with a purple-colored macchiato mix.
- Halloween Sprinkle Takeover – A Munchkin and old-fashioned donut.
- Spider Donut – Donut with purple icing and Munchkin spider placed at the center.
- Halloween Munchkin Bucket – Comes with 50 pieces of munchkins in a Halloween-themed tub.
These spooktacular treats will be available starting October 16, 2024, at participating Dunkin’ locations nationwide.

Dunkin’s Previous Seasonal Specials
Last July, Dunkin’ teamed up with celebrity chef Nick DiGiovanni for an iced coffee collection called “The Chef Nick Menu.” It features the following iced coffee flavors:
- Blueberry Donut Iced Coffee with Sweet Cold Foam
- Caramel Coconut Iced Coffee
- Caramel Almondmilk Iced Coffee
The menu is part of Dunkin’s summer marketing campaign, which features new brand ambassadors called “Dunkin’Terns.” Other ambassadors include entertainers Joey Fatone and A.J. McLean, Ambush designer Yoon Ahn, and Twitch streamer Sypher PK.
Speaking of summer, Dunkin’ also released a whole lot of menu items as their summer specials! What’s exciting about these is they even came in two separate menu rollouts. Well, that’s the best thing about Dunkin’ seasonal specials: they spoil their fans with a variety of new releases ranging from donuts to savory pastries and beverages. I guess we can expect the same for their winter/holiday releases. 👀 But for now, let’s enjoy these fall and Halloween treats!

The only fright that Wendy’s Frosty gives us is brain freeze! Kidding aside, Wendy’s is rolling out their Frosty Frights kid’s meal. Each Frosty Frights meal comes with the following:
- Your choice of 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, hamburger, or cheeseburger
- Jr. Hot Crispy Fries
- Kid’s drink
Each meal also comes with spooky toys in 11 collectible characters, such as Brr Beast, Cold Spell, Franken Frosty, Coolie Ghoulie, and a whole lot more.
Sonic’s Witch’s Brew
The witches are coming to Sonic this Halloween as they unveil the new Witch’s Brew. It features a green apple slush with salted caramel bubbles topped with soft serve. This limited-time drink is an exciting new addition to Sonic’s wide variety of fun drinks. Starting September 30, 2024, they will be available at participating Sonic locations nationwide.

From The Club
Halloween is one of my favorite events every year because, aside from a week-long marathon of my favorite horror films, different fast food spots get to release their Halloween specials. It’s a good thing that Dunkin’ is releasing their Halloween menu, which means I get to try their Halloween Munchkin Bucket and Spider Donut! The Potion Macchiato also looks interesting with its purple-colored mix, and not to mention those marshmallows mixed in espresso! 😋 Looks like Halloween this year is made more spooktacular with Dunkin’s treats!
