There’s a galactic adventure waiting for all of us fans of McDonald’s and its new small-format restaurant, CosMc’s. The latter has landed earthside in 2023 and brought with it otherworldly drinks for humans to enjoy. We’re loving their galactic treats so far, but CosMc’s likes to keep the excitement alive. So it’s launching a new lineup of beverage creations that promise to take our palates to new heights. Bold. Unexpected. Astounding. Get ready.
CosMc’s announced its 6 new beverages, coinciding with the grand opening of its 6th restaurant location in San Antonio, Texas. The new drinks are not your average coffee or matcha. They’re here to send you to a galaxy of unique flavors. Honestly, we could use a quick escape, right now….That said, here’s the complete lineup and details for every drink:
- Coconaut Cold Brew: This rich and dark blend of coffee features cold brew mixed with sweet coconut-vanilla flavors and a creamy cold foam on top. It’s that drink for a galactic adventure with a tropical twist!
- French Toast Galaxy Iced Latte: Now, this sounds like a drink from another world that captures Earth’s fall season. It features smooth espresso, sweet maple, and a warm cinnamon taste.
- Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte: Smooth, creamy, and refreshing, the matcha shaken is served over ice with vanilla flavors and cold foam. It glows green in the CosMc’s universe; almost impossible for matcha lovers to ignore!
- Oat & Honey Latte: If you want a new twist to your usual latte, try this. The freshly brewed espresso is on another level as it pairs with sweet honey and creamy oat milk.
- Pistachio Swirl Shaken Espresso: Underneath a cloud of oat milk foam, take a peek and get a taste of the espresso coffee with swirls of pistachio flavors. It’s that creamy, buttery drink you thought you never needed.
- Sea Salted Caramelactic Shaken Espresso: This one’s got sea salt caramel flavors. Need I say more? But seriously, it’s reminiscent of Earth childhood memories, and the espresso pairs so well with salted caramel flavors and oat milk.
All these new beverages are now available via Drive-Thru and kiosk at all CosMc’s locations. You can also order them via the app or other online platforms. Those who are members of the CosMc’s Club can earn 4x the points when they order before noon. And here’s another secret: soon, you’ll get the option to order your favorite CosMc’s beverage as Hot, Iced, or Frappe. Sounds exciting? Its beverage menu alone offers a lot of gems, including the S’mores Cold Brew and Chai Frappe Burst. The brand is not just about offering coffee, though. There are treats that will fuel you on your galactic trip and other drinks to keep you refreshed. Here are some of them:
- Stellar Sips – This is a lineup of beverage creations featuring sparkling fountain drinks, iced teas, and other fruity combinations. The stunning Sprite Moonsplash graces this menu category, which is a sparkling Sprite drink with vanilla and citrus flavors, served with a lemon wheel and dried blueberries over ice. It’s also customizable; you can add other dried fruits, a different flavor shot, and fruity popping boba.
- Spicy Queso Sandwich – CosMc’s may seem like they have their own world but they’re updated about the latest food news on bold spicy flavors, that’s why they’re offering the Spicy Queso Sandwich for those who can take the heat. It features a toasted brioche bun filled with fluffy omelet, your choice of sausage or bacon strips, white cheddar cheese, spicy queso sauce, and jalapeño chips. You can add an extra egg, meat, or cheese, or combine multiple dips.
- Strawberry & Cookie McFlurry – If you miss McDonald’s limited-time offer Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry, this would be a great alternative. Personally? I think it’s better because of the cookie crumble goodness! The Strawberry & Cookie McFlurry starts with a soft serve vanilla base and then dried strawberries and shortbread cookie crumbles are swirled in. You can take it to the next level by adding a Hot Fudge or Caramel sauce!

I’ve been eyeing CosMc’s ever since it launched because of their cool concept. The space-themed interior? Even better! But let’s talk about the drinks. The S’mores Cold Brew is my go-to, thinking it was CosMc’s greatest hit. Now, I might have to rethink that with the arrival of Sea Salted Caramelactic Shaken Espresso. Everything else on the new lineup looks amazing; I just really have a soft spot for salted caramel-flavored treats, lol! Also, I’m still waiting for the day CosMc’s will finally, literally open their doors for dine-in customers. Let us have that full galactic experience already! 🛸
