However, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is taking steps to keep their meals affordable. They have rolled out their “Taste of KFC Deals” menu to help you feed your family without emptying your wallet.
The “Taste of KFC Deals” Menu
KFC’s $20 Family Meal is quite a deal – it includes six pieces of their classic fried chicken (two thighs, two drumsticks, one breast, and one wing), four side dishes of your choosing (options include mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, coleslaw, mac and cheese, or fries), and four biscuits.
For smaller groups or single diners, KFC hasn’t forgotten you. The Meal For One offers two pieces of chicken (a drumstick and a thigh), mashed potatoes with gravy, and a biscuit, all for $4.99. The Meal For Two includes double that – four pieces of chicken, more mashed potatoes with gravy, and two biscuits, although prices may vary by location.
These deals aren’t just temporary; they’re meant to be a regular feature on the KFC menu. But there’s an extra special offer for a limited time – on Tuesdays, you can get an eight-piece bucket of drumsticks and thighs for only $10.
An advantage of KFC’s value menu is that it’s available both online and in the restaurants, so there’s no requirement to order in advance or join a rewards program – even though signing up for KFC Rewards does have its benefits, like earning points for free food and currently a promotion to try Saucy Nuggets free with any $10 purchase.
While diners worry about rising costs and whether they’ll have to pay more for extras like sauces, KFC offers a reassuring option for a budget-friendly meal.
