Whataburger recently launched the Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double and it’s been available on the menu since October 1, 2024. This new menu item delights burger fans with 100% beef patties sandwiched between two 5-inch buns toasted to perfection. The patties are layered with jalapeño cream cheese and jalapeño ranch; it also comes with jalapeño slices. You will also find crispy bacon and aged cheddar cheese included in the toppings. The Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double offers 58 grams of protein, 61 grams of carbohydrates, and 1,140 calories.
Besides keeping you fueled for the day, the new spicy burger can also help make someone else’s heart full. This is because you can support the Gary Sinise Foundation when you order the Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double or another favorite meal at Whataburger, from October 1 to 31, 2024. When you do order in-store or at the drive-thru, you can participate in the restaurant’s Round-Up at the Register fundraiser. This allows you to round up the total amount you’ll pay to the nearest dollar, giving a portion of it to the foundation. The Gary Sinise Foundation helps veterans and first responders by offering grants for training and equipment to US responder departments that need them the most.
Fun fact: the commercial for Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double was filmed in an actual Texas fire station, making it a special item in the fundraising campaign. Here’s a fan-favorite available during breakfast hours of 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Whataburger brought back the Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit due to popular demand and even extended its availability because of non-stop pleas from fans. So what’s special about this item? The brand calls it a flaky biscuit with a “fiery fiesta of flavor.” This is all thanks to the jalapeño bits and shredded cheddar cheese baked into the biscuit. This treat offers a balanced cheesy-spicy flavor that will have you begging for more.
Dr Pepper Shake
Dr Pepper Shake is another item that returned to the Whataburger menu. This icy drink combines a creamy vanilla shake base with the classic Dr Pepper taste that’s both sweet and peppery. What I love, though, is the campaign behind this new item and other meal favorites at the restaurant. It’s not every day that we get a chance to help others while enjoying great food.
