Here are the exciting menu drops from McDonald’s that will have you returning at the drive-thru!
There’s a question that we’ve been turning in our heads for the past weeks: “What’s on the horizon for McDonald’s menu?” Well, finally, we’re getting some answers! Last year, the fast food giant hinted, or to be more specific, confirmed the return of the Snack Wraps, and we’re going to talk more about that a bit later. Another great news is that there are two more menu items that will excite your taste buds this year. Chicken and burger fans, get ready for these new items!

Foodies and McDonald’s fans across the country are waiting in anticipation for the arrival of new and returning menu items at the fast food chain. According to the word that’s been going around online, these are the three McDonald’s menu releases slated for 2025: Snack Wraps, McCrispy Strips, and the brand-new Big Arch Burger. Here are the latest juicy details about these menu drops:
Snack Wraps Are Back
Discontinued in 2016, the fan-favorite Snack Wrap is finally making its grand return this 2025. According to the brand, the incredible energy surrounding the return of the Snack Wrap in the US (and other markets) is expected to help generate chicken market share growth for McDonald’s.
The original Snack Wrap featured a breaded chicken tender, cheese, lettuce, and a special sauce in a snack-sized soft shell tortilla. The thing is, McDonald’s remains tight-lipped about the time of the relaunch for “competitive reasons.” As we wait for the item’s arrival, we can thank the fans of the Snack Wrap who made their request loud and clear on social media. For years, Snack Wraps were the most requested item to make a return and social media has led the charge to bring it back.
Meet the New McCrispy Strips
Following the success of the McCrispy Sandwich, now available in over 70 markets, McDonald’s is gifting us with a new possibility to enjoy crispy, juicy chicken in the form of McCrispy Chicken Strips! Last year, the chain turned to the Southern test market in North Carolina to present the concept of chicken strips made with 100% all white chicken breast. This makes sense because there’s nothing more familiar with a good chicken than a Southern market.
The new menu item was tested at seven locations with a price of $4.99 for three pieces of strips. When compared to McDonald’s Buttermilk Chicken Tenders (another discontinued item), fans said that the big difference lies in the breading. If you’ve been waiting for the McCrispy Chicken Strips to hit your local McDonald’s menu, here’s the good news: McDonald’s USA CEO Chris Kempczinski confirmed that it will be available soon, along with the Snack Wraps.
The Big Arch Burger is Coming

Many fast food chains have tried (and failed) to create a burger that’s a worthy rival of the Big Mac. Could it be fated that McDonald’s will outdo itself in this arena? Well, we’re about to find out when the all-new Big Arch Burger hits the menu! This sandwich is twice as large as the Big Mac, packing 1,030 calories. That means you’ll be full for a while when you get this new menu item.
The Big Arch sandwich was tested in Canada, Germany, and Portugal early this year, combining the familiar flavors of McDonald’s with new unique ingredients, including a tangy burger sauce specifically made for the Big Arch. This new sandwich features two quarter pound beef patties, layered with three slices of cheese, pickles, lettuce, slivered and crispy onions, and the new Big Arch sauce on toasty sesame and poppy seed bun.
The Big Arch Burger is currently available in Canada and a few other countries. It’s also expected to hit the US menus soon, and both fans and the brand think that the new item has the potential to be as iconic as the Big Mac. Until then, you can take a trip north of the border to give it a try ASAP!
New Deals and Treats at McDonald’s

Now, let’s move on to items that you can have now at your local McDonald’s! The brand just brought back a delectable shake perfect for St. Paddy’s Day celebrations. And not just that, because the fast food giant, as always, remains committed to delivering everyday value to its customers. Get ready for these deals and treats that will have both your wallet and taste buds cheering!
- Shamrock Shake – Yup, the neon green and mint-flavored shake is back at McDonald’s. This treat comes back around St. Patrick’s Day, featuring a creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with whipped light cream. Its sibling, the OREO Shamrock McFlurry, is also back on the menu. The sweetest part? When you order the Shamrock Shake, 25 cents will be donated as a gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities, until March 23. Both the shake and the McFlurry are available for a limited time only, so grab yours as soon as you can!
- McValue Menu – The McValue menu is filled with deals that you wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about. Why? Because they offer much more than you expect (and for less). There are three ways to save through this menu. First, you can buy one and add one for $1 all day long. Just take note that this is applicable to select items for breakfast and lunch. Second, snag any of these limited-time meal deals: The McChicken $5 Meal Deal and The McDouble $5 Meal Deal, both served with nuggets, fries, and a drink. From The Club
There you have it—the three big menu releases coming to McDonald’s US menus! Personally, I can’t wait to level up my snack game with the Snack Wrap. I’ve been craving that since last year and it’s about time that they finally drop it. I would want the new chicken strips to be in the snack wraps, because why not? 🤤 That will just leave me with the Big Arch, which I’ll be trying anyway because the new tangy sauce is intriguing!
