You have to give it to Five Guys for having one of the best burgers and hotdogs in town! They’re the first place we’d often think of when getting quick on-the-go meals or moviehouse snacks. One of the things they’re probably proud of is their milkshake, which is best paired with any of the burgers and hotdogs on the menu.
This season, Five Guys is making our holidays merrier as they introduce the limited-time Candy Cane Crunch Mix-in. Want to know its best feature? It brings out not just one new holiday shake on the menu but hundreds. Yup, they made it possible! By mixing and matching flavors, customers can create over 500 milkshake combinations with the Candy Cane Crunch Mix-in. Looks like there’s a new favorite holiday milkshake in town to watch out for! 👀
Jerry Murrell, Founder and CEO of Five Guys, said that the brand is very excited about the new Candy Cane Crunch Mix-in. While the flavor of the candy cane is important to them, they don’t want to make the customers feel as if they have to try the Candy Cane Crunch itself or that there is only one way to enjoy the milkshake, so they made it customizable.
The Candy Cane Crunch features a strong peppermint flavor that brings a crunch to the milkshake experience. In this shake, you will find real candy pieces, not syrup or extract. The shake is also topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with even more candy cane pieces for a festive touch. You can now get this one-of-a-kind shake today until December 31, 2024, at participating locations until supplies last.
How Does The Milkshake Mix-in Work?
Five Guys sold their first milkshakes back in 2014, and it’s been a classic in their kitchen since. They perfectly pair with any food items from their menu and through the years, they developed mix-in toppings to blend with their milkshake. Its base features a standard vanilla “handspun” milkshake where customers can choose to add their mix-ins that would go along with it.
Check out the following mix-ins you can add to your milkshake:
- Bacon – If you love candied bacon, you’ll definitely love this mix-in added to your handspun milkshake. Its a crispy and sweet applewood bacon chopped and mixed to add a little salty crunch to your shake.
- Bananas – These are real bananas blended to fit in your shake.
- Strawberries – Fresh strawberries that are stored in homemade simple syrup.
- OREO Cookies – A classic cookie sandwiched that is crushed to blend and melt in your milkshake.
- Peanut Butter – A high-quality spread that is made natural and creamy with a touch of honey.
- REESE’s Cups – Another one for peanut butter lovers. If you want to add some milk chocolate blend in your milkshake, REESE’s makes the perfect combination along with some peanut butter.
- Chocolate – Chocolate plus fudge added to your handspun shake.
- Salted Caramel – Sweet caramel with a salty taste, in case you want your milkshake made that way.
- OREO Crème – No OREO wasted when it comes to mix-in add-ons because Five Guys has taken the white cream out of the cookie and add it to your shake for a creamier and sweeter taste.

TOUS les JOURS
The holidays are here, which means you’ve got to arrange quite a lot of dinner feasts. TOUS les JOURS has got you covered in the dessert department with over 300 artisan pastries, gourmet cakes, and desserts baked in their kitchens daily. Impress your guests with TOUS les JOURS’ newly launched “Give Thanks” collection. Available from November 5-29, 2024, these sweet treats are perfect for expressing gratitude this season for your family and friends. This cake collection will be offered at participating locations nationwide while supplies last.
Sue Han, Marketing Manager for TOUS les JOURS, said that they created the “Give Thanks” collection from Thanksgiving flavors with inventive modern twists. Each cake is crafted to enhance our holiday table. They’re perfect to serve at a grand feast or small gatherings.
The “Give Thanks” collection features the following limited-time cakes:
- Vanilla Bean Pistachio – This cake is made to be classic and inventive like what Han said. It features the classic flavor of vanilla bean with its buttercream cover. To make the cake more innovative, the layers are made out of pistachio along with the crumbles.
- Pumpkin Spice Caramel – TOUS les JOURS has taken the classic pumpkin spice cake of fall and added a bit of caramel for a new flavor. It’s a mocha-layered cake with pumpkin spice buttercream, drizzled with caramel and topped with candied hazelnuts.
- Lavender Lemon – Yup, TOUS les JOURS is adding the good scent of lavender to the classic lemon cakes. It features a base of zesty lemon cake with lavender buttercream and lemon custard.
- Ube Cloud – TOUS les JOURS is also serving a cloud cake featuring ube or purple yam. It’s a light and fluffy cake with marbled layers of ube and lavender, all layered with a cloud cream.
- Thanksgiving Cloud – If you can’t get over cloud cakes, TOUS les JOURS is offering a Thanksgiving Cloud cake, but make it fruity. It features an airy white cake layered with signature cloud cream and topped with fresh fruits.

Looks like we’re getting quite some innovative sweet treats this season. To be honest, I like my desserts classic and I’m not a big fan of too much flavor. Although I’ve got to admit, the Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake from Five Guys is cool with its candy flavor and crunchy bits and pieces in every sip. As for TOUS les JOURS, I’d like a whole box cake for the Vanilla Bean Pistachio, as these are the flavors that I know my tastebuds can work for.
