Ever stared at a Chipotle menu and dreamed of something more? Well, your dreams just got delivered because the brand is dropping a new dip and your burrito bowl will never be the same. For the first time in half a decade, Chipotle has unleashed a new masterpiece called Adobo Ranch. It’s not just a dip, it’s a crave-worthy addition that promises to elevate every bite.

Chipotle Mexican Grill announced on Tuesday, June 9, that their launching the new Adobo Ranch just in time for summer. The Adobo Ranch is Chipotle’s smoky and spicy take on America’s current favorite dipping sauce, and it’s made fresh in all Chipotle restaurants. If you’ve been looking for a way to spice up the brand’s burritos, salads, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas, the Adobo Ranch is the way. It’s the first new dip after Chipotle released Queso Blanco.
So, what’s special about the new Adobo Ranch? For starters, it’s based on the new favorite condiment in America. In 2024, ranch dips and dressings have dethroned ketchup as the most popular condiment in the country. Adobo Ranch got that addictive sour cream flavor, enhanced with adobo peppers and a unique blend of herbs and spices. Additionally, this unique take on ranch features real ingredients. No artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives used.
Ready to try Chipotle’s new Adobo Ranch? Well, you might have to wait for a little while because it will officially be available on June 17, and Chipotle Rewards members can try it for FREE on launch day. Guests can join Chipotle Rewards by visiting this page signing up until June 16, by 11 P.M. local time to receive the free Adobo Ranch offer.
Eligible rewards members will receive the free Adobo Ranch offer with the purchase of at least one regular-priced entrée. Additionally, the offer is for one-time use and valid on June 17, 2025 only. Meanwhile, new Chipotle Rewards members will also get a FREE guac after sign up. Indeed, the best way to Chipotle is via the app, as you can track points, redeem rewards, and score additional free items.
According to Chris Brandt, President and Chief Brand Officer at Chipotle, the Adobo Ranch taps into consumers’ creativity in using ranch. Finally, with the new dip, there’s a new way to customize Chipotle orders with a completely new flavor. Meanwhile, Nevielle Panthaky, Vice President of Culinary at Chipotle, suggests that you try dipping the salt and lime seasoned tortilla chips in Adobo Ranch before scooping into a burrito bowl. What’s New at Chipotle?

Did you know that Chipotle has also entered their swicy era? That’s right, last March, Chipotle dropped another new innovation called Chipotle Honey Chicken, offering chipotle heat with a touch of sweet. The Chipotle Honey Chicken features fresh chicken hot off the grill, seasoned with Mexican spices and marinated with smoky chipotle peppers and a hint of pure honey.

- Chipotle Honey Chicken Bowl – Made with white rice, black beans, Chipotle Honey Chicken, fresh tomato salsa, cheese, lettuce, roasted chili-corn salsa, and sour cream.
- Chipotle Honey Chicken Burrito – Made with white rice, black beans, Chipotle Honey Chicken, fresh tomato salsa, cheese, sour cream, and roasted chili-corn salsa.
- Chipotle Honey Chicken Quesadilla – Made with Chipotle Honey Chicken, guac, sour cream, cheese, and tomatillo-red chili salsa.

Similar to the new Adobo Ranch, the Chipotle Honey Chicken is made fresh daily, in small batches with no freezers and no can openers. It doesn’t contain preservatives and anything artificial either.

Subway’s Hot Honey Subs
Subway has also hooped on the hot honey trend, but they’re taking things to the next level. The brand currently offers two new sandwiches that feature sweet honey, cayenne and habanero pepper powder, and other flavorful spices:
- Hot Honey Pepperoni – Made with pepperoni, lettuce, red onions, provolone, and tomatoes. All these are served on Artisan Italian bread, finished with a drizzle of sweet hot honey sauce.
- Hot Honey Chicken – Enjoy rotisserie-style chicken with Monterey Cheddar on Artisan Italian bread. The sandwich is also loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, creamy sriracha, and hot honey sauce, and then topped with SubKrunch™.
Whataburger’s Pico de Gallo Burger
While not exactly a sweet and spicy offering, this returning burger from Whataburger can definitely bring the heat. After four years of hiatus, Pico de Gallo Burger is once again on the menu, joining other limited-time favorites for the brand’s 75th anniversary celebration. Now that Pico de Gallo Burger is out from the Whatavault, guests can devour a five-inch sandwich loaded with fresh 100% beef or crispy Whatachick’n patty, melty pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo, and cilantro-lime sauce.
Also back on the menu are the Monterey Melt and Chicken Fajita Taco. In the following weeks leading up to Whataburger’s big day (August 8), expect to see more items making a grand comeback.
