In just a span of years, consumers became more health-conscious than ever, often looking for meals that will benefit their well-being. Perhaps you’re one of them, and you are looking for an on-the-go meal plan or a filling but healthy meal that is good for you. Pokeworks just got you covered with the comeback of their fan-favorite bowl, and it’s about to get even better.
Pokeworks welcomes back their Volcano Bowl, which was originally launched in 2019! This fiery bowl was a hit with customers as it is filled with Pokeworks’ famous Poke that is drizzled with their Signature Lava Sauce. Now, what’s in this special Lava Sauce that made fans go crazy? It’s the blend of ghost pepper and sriracha with a topper of Thai chili.

With the chain’s “Poke Your Way” philosophy, they are offering the Volcano Bowl in your choice of burrito, bowl, or salad with three different spice levels of mild, medium, and Lava. Whether you’re a spicy food fan or someone new to the spice category, there is a Volcano Bowl that will cater to your tastebuds!
Mike Wu, Co-Founder and Head of Culinary Works at Pokeworks, said that their commitment to their guests became the inspiration for why they decided to release the Volcano Bowl once again. For them, it is more than just a dish since its flavors brought guests their new favorite bowl.
To add to the excitement, a new giveaway is coming your way! Pokeworks is collaborating with Reyn Spooner, an American brand known for their Hawaiian shirts. They are hosting an exclusive giveaway for fans on Instagram (@pokeworksco) on August 9 for a chance to win a premium Reyn Spooner shirt and a $25 Pokeworks gift card. Three lucky winners will be announced on August 16, 2024.

New Poke Bowls To Try At Pokeworks
The idea of Pokeworks started with many trips to Hawaii, where Poke Bowls are huge. This inspiration to bring Poke Bowls in Manhattan, New York, served to what the brand caters now on their menu, and it is to share the taste of Hawaii everywhere.
You may wonder what Poke Bowls are; they’re marinated uncooked seafood mixed with vegetables and drizzled with different sauces. If you’re familiar with Japanese sushi, this is mainly the huge version without the nori seaweed wraps. Pokeworks is dedicated to serving its Poke Bowls fresh daily, and they have been a staple at the restaurant. Pokeworks has released three new Poke Bowls for you to try.
Spicy Ponzu Albacore Bowl
For those of you who want to try another one of Pokeworks’ spicy bowls, try their new Spicy Ponzu Albacore Bowl, which consists of their main ingredient, a Spicy Ponzu Albacore Tuna. The spicy bowl is topped with your Poke usuals, such as onion, cucumber, mango, green onions, and sesame seeds. To make the bowl spicier, ponzu sauce and spicy furikake are added.

Plant-Based Tuna Bowl
As part of Pokeworks’ commitment to serve Poke Bowls for everyone, there is also a plant-based option to choose from. It features a plant-based tuna made by Impact Foods along with your Poke fillings such as onion, cucumber, and edamame. For a sweet and spick kick, pineapple and cilantro with sweet chili gochujang and sweet shoyu are added. As for the toppings, it has a seaweed salad, green onions, sesame seeds, and spicy furikake.
