Who in Who-ville will cry out “Woo-hoo”? Of course, those who can taste Krispy Kreme’s new Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection. Yup, this green creature who we knew growing up hates Christmas teamed up with Krispy Kreme to be a part of their holiday-themed collection after Halloween’s Ghostbusters Collection. But if you watched the movie or read Dr. Seuss’ book about why he stole Christmas, you would understand where he is coming from and that the collaboration makes sense. Better watch the movie and read the book because we won’t be giving any spoilers here. 🤣
Mark your calendars as on Friday, November 29, 2024, you can get your hands on Krispy Kreme’s new Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection. It will feature three new doughnuts, each based on the Christmas classic “How the Grinch Stole Chrismas” by Dr. Seuss. These new doughnuts will be joined by two returning fan-favorites.
- Grinch Doughnut (New) – An unglazed doughnut base filled with “coal” or Cookies & KREME filling. It is dipped in Grinch green icing decorated with chocolate icing for the smirk and buttercream hair.
- Grinchy Claus Doughnut (New) – Features an Original Glazed doughnut base that is dipped in chocolate icing and topped with white buttercream, Christmas crispies, and a Grinch piece.
- Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut (New) – An Original Glazed doughnut that is dipped in strawberry icing. The doughnut is decorated with green buttercream to resemble a Christmas tree. It also has festive sprinkles topped with a star piece.
- Santa Belly Doughnut – A returning favorite that will join the collection lineup. It features an unglazed doughnut base filled with White KREME. It is dipped in red icing and piped with a black chocolate Santa belt plus a belt buckle.
- Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut – An Original Glazed doughnut base dipped in chocolate icing with festive sprinkles attached.
Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s Global Chief Brand Officer, said that the brand’s Grinch-themed doughnuts are guaranteed to make even the Grinch himself smile as they serve customers with baked fresh doughnuts that are available in participating Krispy Kreme locations nationwide.
But wait, there are more surprises coming your way this December 12 as Krispy Kreme is celebrating their annual 12/12 “Day of the Dozens,” as they offer guests a $1 Original Glazed dozen. Customers may avail of such a promo when they purchase any dozen at a regular price. The promo is available to get in stores, drive-thru, and online for pickup and delivery.

This season is turning me into a sweet tooth once again from these fast food chains, and dessert has stopped introducing something new since the start of October. For this batch, I’m excited about each sweet offering. For Cold Stone, I’m looking forward to trying their Winter White Raspberry Delight while biting Jimmy John’s Chocolate Peppermint Cookie. But the thing that I’m excited about the most is Krispy Kreme’s Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection, as someone who loves The Grinch movie.
