Here's Your First Look on Burger King's Rumored Addams Family Menu

Move over, Halloween Buckets; the whole Addams Family is arriving as the stars of the spooky season at Burger King.

It may be a bit early for Halloween surprises, but we’re moving past the fall season to introduce a rumored collaboration between Burger King and one of Halloween’s famous fictional families. Burger King is known for a lot of tricks and treats up their sleeves, and this time, it looks like they’re going on a full menu surprise.

Burger King is rumored to be collaborating with The Addams Family for a new and exciting Halloween menu, including four hauntingly delicious items. Even though food descriptions are still limited, we’ve got the unofficial details to give you a first look at Burger King’s rumored “Addams Family” menu:

  • First off the bat, we have Wednesday Whopper as one of the Halloween items; this burger features a striking purple bun, beef patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and possibly Swiss cheese and ketchup.
  • Next up, we have Gomez’s Churro Fries. ⁤⁤These are not your typical potato french fries, but rather, these are crispy pastry dough pieces, lightly tossed in cinnamon sugar, served warm, and accompanied by a chocolate sauce.
  • Then there’s Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake to add a touch of sweetness to Burger King’s rumored Halloween menu. ⁤⁤This sweet treat combines soft serve with chocolate cake batter fudge and brownie bites, complete with colorful sprinkles on top.
  • Last but not the least, there’s Thing’s Rings & Other Things to complete the whole lineup. This includes the same crispy onion rings but it’s served in a special printed carton.

It’s still unclear if there will be collectible toys to be released with this menu but there’s a rumor of a crown included. The unofficial launch date for the Burger King Addams Family Halloween Menu is projected for October 10, 2024. We’ll be providing more updates on this spooky lineup so stay tuned!

Burger King’s Previous Halloween Menu Lineup

Burger King has a lot of tricks up their sleeves; from new menu releases to advertising battles with McDonald’s and even occasional menu campaigns, the fast food giant is reigning in a lot of categories. And the upcoming Halloween season has been one of Burger King’s strongest suits, to say the least.

Before Burger King drops the viral Addams Family menu, let’s take a step back and look at the previous Halloween treats in the King’s treasure trove.

Burger King’s Spooky Season Ghost-Inspired Halloween Menu 2023

The fast food giant challenged its fans to “Taste if you Dare” when they launched two ghostly menu additions last Halloween. Guests were introduced to the all-new and scarily good Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries and the fan-favorite Ghost Pepper Whopper last October 12, 2024.

These may ring in some scary memories but here’s the highlight of Burger King’s Halloween Menu last 2023:

  • Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries: Burger King is not one to play with flavors and their customer’s feelings. That’s why they’ve adapted the signature heat of the ghost pepper to their fan-favorite Chicken Fries. And the result? a smoking hot Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries. If you’re an avid Burger King or Chicken Fries fan, then you’d know this is not the first time BK added a creative and flavorful touch to the menu item. Over the years, Chicken Fries went into delicious transformations, including Spicy Chicken Fries, Buffalo Chicken Fries, Jalapeńo Chicken Fries, and more flavorful innovations, much to the customers’ delight. The recent Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries were made available in 4, 8, and 12-pieces with a choice of dipping sauce.
  • Ghost Pepper Whopper: Burger King, the home of the famous Whopper, brought back their iconic Ghost Pepper Whopper for a second year in a row last Halloween. It was first introduced in 2022, when the ghost pepper flavor was mixed into their flagship Whopper, featuring a flame-grilled 100% beef patty that’s stacked with melty and spicy queso, crispy jalapeńos, bacon, and, of course, the ghost pepper cheese. All of these ingredients are sandwiched in a toasted orange bun that’s topped with black sesame seeds, and was made available while supplies last.

While the Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries and Ghost Pepper Whopper may not return this year, we’re still able to taste Burger King’s spooky but delicious take on Halloween, thanks to the rumored Addams Family menu.

Other Halloween Treats To Look Out For

The fall season may have just started but fast food brands and restaurants are already prepping up for Halloween. And we can’t blame them, it’s one of the best seasons of the year when they can combine their creativity with delicious new offerings.

This year, some fast food chains have already stepped up and teased their delicious preparations for the upcoming spooky season, and we’ve rounded them up for you. Here are other Halloween Treats you can look out for:

Dunkin’ Halloween Munchkins Bucket

Dunkin’ is rumored to launch a unique Halloween-themed Bucket for munchkin lovers; though it’s not yet confirmed but this purple Halloween pail is already making rounds online. This spooky-designed bucket can hold up to 50 munchkins. However, it’s yet to be confirmed if you need to buy 50 Halloween-themed munchkins to get the bucket or if it comes with any choice of munchkins. One thing’s for sure: supplies for this Halloween bucket will be limited, and you can get this at participating Dunkin’ locations starting October 16, 2024.

McDonald’s Halloween Boo Buckets

Another Halloween Bucket on the list, McDonald’s is also rumored to bring back their Boo Buckets. Most likely similar to their counterparts in other countries, these Boo Buckets are expected to come with a fresh design that’s different from what McDonald’s USA has offered in previous years. While the actual designs are not yet confirmed, we can only hope it still carries the theme that McDonald’s has been known for: fun and creative designs that all Trick-or-Treat goers can bring and appreciate.

From The Club

Thanks to Burger King, I’m more than excited for Halloween to arrive! While it’s still a rumor, but I can’t help but be curious about the Wednesday Whopper’s purple bun and how it would taste like. We’ve had a red bun before when Burger King released the Angriest Whopper, but I don’t remember having a purple bun. Thus, I believe the Wednesday Whopper is a first, so that makes me crave it even more!

Special thanks to @markie_devo for the images and tips!
