June is finally upon us and one of the things we can all look forward to (aside from all the summer festivities) is National Best Friends Day! Everyone has a best friend, right? To celebrate National Best Friends Day on June 8, Popeyes is giving away free chicken sandwiches in partnership with GrubHub. It’s a part of GrubHub’s customer appreciation month so they’re ending the celebration with a “Bites with Your Bestie” week. This all sounds great and all, but I bet you’re wondering how you can score your free chicken sandwich. Here’s how.
From June 3-9, you can get a free Popeyes Chicken Sandwich when you order at least $20 worth of food through he GrubHub app or website. But there’s a catch; you have to be a GrubHub+ member to take advantage of this deal. If you’re not a member yet, you should go ahead and sign up. Amazon Prime members can get a free year of GrubHub+. In addition, you can also sign up for a free trial if you’re a new user.
When you sign up for GrubHub+, you’re not just getting a free chicken sandwich. In fact, there’s a lot of benefits that members enjoy like no delivery fees and reduced service charges on eligible orders. You also get a chance to avail a whole bunch of other deals. On the last week of GrubHub’s customer appreciation month, members can get a free Whopper with $20+ orders from Burger King and even buy-one-get-one offers at Chipotle.

We all love Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. I mean, we all know how Popeyes was one of those fast food chains who are at the top when it comes to fried chicken. Last month, they released a new set of chicken sandwiches called the Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich. There are four versions to choose from: the Crispy Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich, the Crispy Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Bacon & Cheese, the Blackened Golden BBQ Sandwich, and the Golden BBQ Bacon & Cheese Blackened Chicken Sandwich. All of them are pretty great and worth a try.
They also expanded the flavor options for their chicken wings. The most notable addition, however, are the Honey Lemon Pepper Wings. This new flavor has a unique blend of sweet honey, tangy lemon, and spicy black pepper.
