There’s a new Pancake of the Month at IHOP, which will be cookie buttery! 🤤
That’s right, IHOP’s Pancake of the Month flavor is none other than Cookie Butter. It’s the perfect sweet treat to start the summer season. This pancake stack will be available from June 1 through July.
The Cookie Butter Pancakes feature IHOP’s world-famous buttermilk pancakes that are filled with cookie pieces. The best part? They’re covered with Biscoff Cookie Butter, whipped topping, and even more cookie crumbles. You can also choose to get them in a combo that includes two pancakes, two bacon strips, or two pork sausage links. There are also two eggs made your way, plus two hashbrowns.
June’s Cookie Butter Pancakes combine smooth, caramelized Biscoff cookie butter plus exciting crunchy pieces if you’re looking to take your usual buttermilk pancakes up for an upgrade.
What is IHOP’s Pancake of the Month Concept?
In case you’re not familiar with it, IHOP started a Pancake of the Month concept in their restaurants last February 2024 with the Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes. Following this, IHOP began to create different flavored pancakes each month for their customers who are always looking for something new. They’re not officially included on the permanent menu since they’re only here to stay for a month.
The move is part of the brand’s strategy for their “largest menu evolution ever,” so expect to get something new each month. Listed below is the complete pancake of the month that IHOP has released so far:
- February 2024 – Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pancake
- March 2024 – Girl Scout Thin Mint Pancake
- April 2024 – Cinnamon Apple Pecan Pancake

Unusual Secret Menu Items to Try at IHOP
Just like any other restaurant, IHOP has a secret menu! While they aren’t recognized officially by the chain, they’re shared by fans online. If you want to try something new at your favorite breakfast place (apart from the Pancake of the month), we’ve listed several secret menu items for you to try. Note that they may or may not have the following secret menu items available, so you would have to ask the staff for their availability:
- The Ultimate Waffle Stack – They debuted the Ultimate Waffle Stack back in 2018, but sadly, they removed it from the menu and just offered its components separately. But if you want to try them, then you can order Belgian Waffles, eggs, bacon, and cheese. Just stack them together.
- Red Velvet White Chocolate Cheesecake Macaroons – This secret menu item is unusual, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. They feature your usual red velvet macaroons filled with creamy white chocolate filling.
- Onion and French Fry Omelette – We all know that IHOP lets us customize omelettes according to our liking. With this, try asking for an Onion and a French Fry One. How? Simply order crunchy onions and French Fries to be added to your omelette. You can add a sweet syrup if you want to experiment a bit.
- Steak Tartare – You may have heard of this particular Steak Tartare being served at IHOP, prepared like a Philly Cheesesteak. It features egg yolks, capers, and onions.
- Petagonian Prawn Ceviche – Who knew you could get prawns at IHOP? Well, that’s what the street says. IHOP is said to occasionally serve prawns marinated in citrus juice. Try calling four hours in advance to order before your planned visit.

It features OREO cookie pieces, coffee drizzle, and caramel on a cinnamon base. It’s available in Classic, MiniBon, and Center of the Roll sizes. This treat will join other specialty bons like Caramel Bon and Turtle Bon.
- Dairy Queen’s Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard – Dairy Queen collaborates with the new Superman movie with the Superman Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard. It features sugar cookie dough with a cake batter flavor and Superman-themed sprinkles that are blended into the soft serve.
- Krispy Kreme’s Strawberry Glazed Doughnut – Krispy Kreme just brought back the Strawberry Glazed Doughnut, but only for a limited time. It features an Original Glazed Doughnut base with strawberry glaze and sweet strawberry flavor. You can get them through Sunday (June 1, 2025).
- SONIC’s Sweet Topped Lemonades – SONIC partnered up with bestselling authors Christina Lauren, Abby Jimenez, and Ashley Poston to launch their new Sweet Topped Lemonades for the summer. They come in three flavors: the classic Sweet Topped Lemonade, the Sweet Topped Strawberry Lemonade, and the Sweet Topped Blueberry Lavender Lemonade. Mark your calendars as they will drop on June 2, 2025, at SONIC locations nationwide.

The summer season is coming, and so is IHOP’s Pancake of the Month for June! I’m a big Biscoff Cookie Butter fan, so I sometimes buy it just to eat it with a spoon.
