In case you’re not familiar, ciabatta is an Italian bread that is known for its hard crusts and soft interior. This was Italy’s response to the popularity of French baguettes, so if you’re a fan, you’ll also love ciabatta bread. Panera has created this bread overloaded with fillings of meat and cheese that is made to dip with classics of Bistro French Onion Soup and Creamy Tomato Soup.
The Ciabatta Dippers come in two varieties, and they’re served with a portion of soup on the side to match the dipper. Choose your pick among these two that vary in filling and soup:
- French Dipper – We all know that you’re excited to take on the Thanksgiving turkey, but while we’re waiting for Thanksgiving, why don’t you have a steak first? Panera’s new French Dipper does the trick as it features a marinated steak filling topped with melted provolone and asiago cheeses, all drizzled in garlic aioli and sandwiched in ciabatta bread. It is served with a warm bowl of French Bistro Soup on the side.
- Spicy Chicken Dipper – If you opt for a spicy dipper, then get yourself this option. The dipper fillings include a grilled chicken topped with melty provolone cheese and creamy salsa verde spread; all sandwiched in ciabatta bread. The dipper is served with a warm side of Creamy Tomato Soup.

Florida’s favorite restaurant, TooJay’s, is teaming up with another Florida-based brand, Lilly Pulitzer, to celebrate the women’s resort wear brand’s 65th anniversary. Fans of both brands are invited to the special celebration as TooJay’s is creating a limited-edition Lemon Coconut Cake in Lilly Pulitzer’s honor and it will be available at all 20 TooJay’s locations across Florida.
This marks the first-ever partnership between Lilly Pulitzer and a restaurant and they’re adding along Florida’s flair in their cake creation. The Lemon Coconut Cake features a white cake soaked in lemon simple syrup and filled with lemon coconut cream. The cake is then topped with lemon buttercream frosting and garnished with lemons that are infused with coconuts. The cake is packaged in Lilly Pulitzer’s designs that fans of the brand will quickly recognize.
You can now grab this limited-edition cake that makes the perfect dinner table centerpiece and dessert for a Thanksgiving feast. Our holiday roundups just keep getting better and better with the release of more new food items and did I mention that it keeps getting cooler? I’m eyeing two of Panera Bread’s dippers, as well as the North Pole Acai Bowl from Playa Bowls, that I would love to try as someone who’s a fan of healthy breakfast bowls. As for the TooJay’s and Lilly Pulitzer collab, I was amazed by how beautiful the Lemon Coconut Cake is. It’s just a simple white frosting cake but the girlies that get it, get it. 😉 However, I’m not a fan of the flavor since I like to eat or drink coconut as is, and I try to avoid any food that is coconut flavor since it doesn’t appeal to my tastebuds. But who knows? The Lemon Coconut Cake might change that.
