Today, we scream for ice cream! 🍦

For this roundup, we’re getting a ton of new ice cream flavors from our favorite ice cream shops: Baskin-Robbins, Cold Stone, Dairy Queen, and Handel’s. So make sure to save room for dessert and plan an ice cream place for a day where you get to try out these new flavors. Expect that you’ll get something buttery, chocolatey, and crunchy for the coming days. If you’re up for an ice cream treat, then read along as we’ll bring you the latest scoops around.

Baskin-Robbins

February has brought us the Love Potion #31 as the flavor of the month. But sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to the raspberry and chocolate combination as a new flavor will be landing Baskin-Robbins for the month of March.

Say hello to the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake plus a bonus treat of Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Milkshake. This flavor features chocolate and chocolate cheesecake-flavored ice cream with chocolate chips, cheesecake pieces, and cookie crumb swirls. They’re speculated to drop at Baskin-Robbins locations by March 1, 2025.

Cold Stone Creamery

Cold Stone Creamery is ready to celebrate the spring season as it brings ahead warmer days and brighter skies. But above all that, the creamery is excited to announce the comeback of an old favorite flavor and introduce a new one.

Cold Stone is surprising their banana-loving fans with the return of the Going Bananas for JELL-O Pudding. But wait, that’s not all, as Cold Stone also surprises their peanut butter-loving fans with the release of the new No One Lays a Finger on My Butterfinger Creation. You can now get these limited-time flavors in two unique creations.

Courtney Maxedon, Vice President of Marketing & Digital Strategy at Kahala Brands, the parent company of Cold Stone Creamery, said that spring is a time made for new beginnings and celebrations, so they’re excited to bring these flavors to customers as their seasonal tradition. Maxedon mentioned that the two new flavors are perfect for anyone who loves nostalgic but delicious flavors.

Don’t miss out on these exclusive flavors and creations, as they’re available now at participating Cold Stone locations nationwide until May 13, 2025. Check out the flavor profiles of each new flavor:

  • Going Bananas for JELL-O Pudding – A JELL-O Banana Cream Pudding Ice Cream that’s made out of NILLA Wafers with some banana and whipped topping. It’s perfect for anyone craving a good banana pudding.

Dairy Queen

Are you a fan of Dairy Queen’s dipped cones? It’s a good thing that Dairy Queen will be coming out with a new flavored cone in Crunchin’ Cookie. It features a dip with cookies and cream pieces, which blend perfectly with the brand’s ice cream base.

The Crunchin’ Cookie was actually a former test item that rolled out last year under the name ‘Cookie Monster.’ Great news, as they will be rolling out nationwide at this time. However, it might take quite some time before they’re released in your area.

That’s not all, as Dairy Queen will also be releasing a St. Patrick’s Day comeback special. Say hello again to the Mint Oreo Blizzard, which features a green mint dessert treat with Oreo cookie pieces. The flavor is expected to be available before March 17, 2025, so you’d have to wait until then.

Handel’s Ice Cream

2025 is a big year for Handel’s Ice Cream as they celebrate their 80th anniversary of serving their award-winning ice cream to guests. To kick off the celebration, Hadel’s unveiled a new flavor that guests will want to get their hands on. A little warning, tho, as they might come out as sticky. 😉

In case you don’t know, Handel’s just released a new ice cream flavor last February 19, 2025, called Sticky Fingers. It’s the brand’s latest addition, created by Ohio franchisee Bruce Hill. What’s great about this new flavor is that it mixes delightful treats in one treat. It’s peanut butter ice cream with a caramel ripple, brownie pieces, and some chocolate truffles that are filled with salted caramel.

Hillary Frei, Chief Marketing Officer of Handel’s Ice Cream, said that the new Sticky Fingers will bring a smile to the guests’ faces with an “irresistible flavor combination.” Well, you get your peanut butter ice cream combined with your favorite sweets of brownie, chocolate, and caramel flavors that create a classic favorite made for all ages. Frei added that for 80 years, the brand has helped guests and their loved ones celebrate their special moments. This time, they’re thrilled to add more memories through a new flavor.

For Handel’s, it’s important that local owners also contribute to the craftsmanship of flavors by submitting ideas based on creations that customers will love. With all of the ideas submitted, Sticky Fingers definitely stood out with the creation developed by Ohio-based franchisee Bruce Hill. He has already brought 25 years of experience to the Handel’s brand.

But that’s not the only flavor that Hill created, as he and his wife love submitting flavors for consideration. Some of the flavors that they created together are the following:

  • Vanilla Caramel Truffle
  • Lemon Meringue Pie
  • S’Mores
  • Apple Caramel

For both of them, watching their guests light up with joy when taking the first bite is a special moment. If you want to test them out on your own, then head over to your nearest Handel’s, as the flavor is available for a limited time at all locations. You have the option to enjoy the flavor in  Handel’s cones, cups, or a shake. But if you want it to be a little more chocolatier, then pair it with a chocolate-dipped waffle cone. If you’re craving more, you can order them in pints and quarts so you can take them home and enjoy them later.

From The Club

I was amazed by Handel’s Ice Cream’s way of including their franchisees in the creation of their ice cream. I’d have to drop by my nearest Handel’s to get a taste of the Sticky Fingers. As for Cold Stone Creamery’s two new flavors, I’m leaning towards the Going Bananas for JELL-O Pudding since I’m craving some banana pudding treats. As for Baskin-Robbins’ Chocolate Chip Cheesecake and Dairy Queen’s Crunchin’ Cookie, I’ve added them to my list of must-try.
