What better way to let your home country taste some fan favorites from international locations, right?
McDonald’s USA is finally dropping the Biscoff McFlurry with Caramel Sauce, and we’re here for it! It features a vanilla soft serve base that is blended with Biscoff cookies and caramel sauce. However, there’s a catch: it’s only being served at one location, and that location happens to be in Chicago, Illinois, specifically at 1035 W. Randolph, which is their international headquarters. If you live in Chicago or in nearby cities, then you’re lucky to have the first taste of this new McFlurry flavor as it drops at McDonald’s USA.
If the Biscoff McFlurry became successful, then McDonald’s would surely test them in out-of-state locations anytime soon until it hits a nationwide release. Biscoff fans, better cross your fingers that this does well in Chicago. Get them now while they’re still freezing.

What Started McFlurry?
McFlurry is a McDonald’s staple. Your meal wouldn’t be complete without the freezing vanilla ice cream base that is blended with your choice of toppings. It is quite notable that Oreo McFlurry is the chain’s most successful McFlurry flavor, judging from its permanent appearance on the menu. Indeed, there’s nothing better than a vanilla and crushes Oreo cookie combination — much like Oreo’s iconic cookie and vanilla cream filling.
The McFlurry can be traced back to 1995 when it was first introduced by inventor and Canadian McDonald’s franchisee Ron McLellan. They were first offered in Bathurst, New Brunswick, and later, at a number of Toronto locations in Canada. The McFlurry’s US debut was in 1995 after it proved to be successful at McDonald’s Canada.
Since then, it has consisted of the same ingredients and formula: a vanilla ice cream base and a sweet topping that is blended. It also features flavors of Oreo, Heath, Nestle Crunch, M&M’s, and Butterfinger. The feature of the McFlurry that makes it an instant crowd favorite is the whipped vanilla soft serve using a blender, plus the toppings that are blended making it earn the name of McFlurry.

From The Club
As an Oreo McFlurry lover and a Biscoff fan, I’m excited for the Biscoff McFlurry! Although I’d appreciate it more if McDonald’s blended Biscoff Cookie Butter instead of caramel sauce for a more authentic taste of the McFlurry. Well, I’m trusting McDonald’s on this one as I know that they will also serve when it comes to their new McFlurry flavor. Let’s cross our fingers that this flavor will be up for nationwide release so this can reach more Biscoff fans.
