Jack in the Box fans, there’s a new reason to celebrate, or two reasons rather. Meet the new cheeseburgers that will shake up your fast food experience.
Jack in the Box started in 1951 as a humble hamburger stand. Decades later, they remain a favorite burger place despite the arrival of many competitors. Fueled by their goal to offer the most distinctive menu, Jack in the Box introduces new cheeseburger options that fans will look forward to. At the same time, the fast food chain just made the world one level more delicious.

Available across San Diego, California only, the new Smoke Show Cheeseburger is here to make your Jack in the Box experience special. The new item has two varieties: Smoke Show Cheeseburger and Bacon Double Smoke Show Cheeseburger. The former starts with a buttery bun and a layer of 100% beef patty, crispy onions, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, and a new Smoke House sauce. The latter features two beef patties with the same sauce and ingredients.
The new burgers are available a la carte, with a price of $5.79 for the Smoke Show Cheeseburger and $9.29 for the Bacon Double Cheeseburger. Diners in San Diego can also order these as a combo meal, served with fries and a drink. The new burgers will be around for a limited time, so grab yours as soon as you can!
In other fast food news, Burger King is rumored to release a limited-time burger called Wednesday Whopper, which is part of their Addams Family-themed menu for October. The Oktoberfest Cheeseburger from Burgerville is likewise available, featuring premium ingredients like the Local Country Natural Beef flavored with Bratwurst seasoning and Tillamook Swiss cheese.
Latest Releases from Jack in the Box
Jack in the Box isn’t just quick to serve hot and fresh food, it’s also fast when releasing new menu items to try. The brand stays true to its vision of becoming a place for those who live outside the box and brave enough to try unique flavor mixes. Don’t miss out on these new offers from Jack in the Box:
Crispy Chicken Ramen Combo
San Diego diners are indeed lucky because this item will also be exclusively available in the area. As you might have guessed, this combo features the popular Japanese noodle dish ramen and a juicy chicken strip. This is quite unique especially for those who have tried authentic ramen with Chashu pork. The Crispy Chicken Ramen Combo is also expected to give off a savory taste and comforting warmth, perfect for the upcoming winter season.
Monster Tacos
Just in time for the Halloween season, Jack in the Box welcomed for the fourth year in a row the fan-favorite Monster Tacos. An order of this item includes two monster-sized tacos and the usual fillings: shredded lettuce, taco sauce, and melty American cheese. This year, the Monster Tacos got a new variation, the Mummy Wrapped Monster Taco. It has flavorful additions like the nacho cheese and bacon. Plus, the ingredients are wrapped in a flour tortilla served warm.

Witch Please Shake
Now, this is the shake that everyone has been talking about. The Witch Please Shake captured the attention of many because of its lilac hue. But what’s more exciting is it features an ingredient that’s native to the Southeast Asia: ube. This adds a sweet, earthy flavor to the shake, making it the perfect drink to have with a cheeseburger or taco.
The Witch Please Shake combines ube flavors with OREO cookies and is finished with whipped cream on top and extra OREO pieces. Those who have tried confirmed that is has a sweet, creamy base and a hint of vanilla flavor.

All the Best Burgers from Jack in the Box
Burgers are everywhere and there’s always something new to try. But if you want to guarantee indulgence and get value for money, you can always pick the classics. At Jack in the Box, fans claim you can never go wrong with these burger options:
Bacon Double Smashed Jack
This is one of the burgers from Jack in the Box with the most positive reviews. The savory taste was described to be satisfying and so are the thickness and juiciness of the two 1/4lb beef patties. The chef’s kiss? The burger’s crispy edges. Can you imagine all the textures that go into the Bacon Double Smashed Jack?
This burger also comes with the Boss sauce, which uses mayonnaise as a base and is inspired by the Thousand Islands dressing. Enjoy all the other flavors that come from pickles, American cheese, grilled onions, and hickory smoked bacon.

Sourdough Jack
The Sourdough Jack has been around since 1991 and for good reasons. Some say that this burger stands out from the rest because of the sourdough bread. Others called the item simple but with an underrated flavor profile. The hickory smoked bacon, melty Swiss-style cheese, tomato, mayo, and ketchup blend so well together, especially when layered with the seasoned beef patty. A quick search of this burger online will show you that it’s a favorite of many burger buffs.
Classic Smashed Jack
The smash burgers are indeed getting a lot of love including the classic variation. This item has the same ingredients as Bacon Double Smashed Jack, minus the bacon of course and with only one beef patty. I must say this is a great pick for those who want something that’s a little less savory and a burger that’s not too filling you still have room for sides and a dessert.
