Nothing beats a refreshing treat that brings you back to your childhood.

We all love summer because, somehow, we remember the freedom we enjoyed during our childhood. We remember past summers filled with carefree road trips, BBQ grilling sessions with our family over lunch, late-night skinny dipping, sleepovers, girls’ day out at the mall, and Friday night movie marathons. So, whenever we’re presented with a treat or a token that lets us reminisce about those good old days, we embrace it immediately. We want to experience those laid-back days again, so we cling to tiny bits of treats that let us relive even just a slight taste of it.

Fast food brands recognize how we give so much importance to our past, that’s why they’re spoiling us with treats inspired by nostalgia. That’s evident with past menu releases, brand collaborations made by Dairy Queen, and even the new meal collectibles launched by McDonald’s. And now, Johnny Rockets joins the trip back to memory lane with their new shake sensation.

Johnny Rockets unveils a new shake called the Dirt Cup Shake, featuring the fun little Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers. This limited-time offering combines the classic hand-spun Chocolate Shake blended with OREO Cookie crumbles and the tangy taste of Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers. The Dirt Cup Shake is here to bring back good old memories while sharing a delicious twist on classic dessert flavors.

⁤Available at participating locations starting August 6 through December 31, 2024, the Dirt Cup Shake aims to appeal to those who enjoy sweet nostalgic tastes. ⁤⁤According to Taylor Fischer, VP of Marketing for FAT Brands’ Fast Casual Division, the hand-spun shakes are a highlight of the all-American dining experience. ⁤⁤FAT Brands along with Johnny Rockets constantly searches for trends, like the Dirt Cup theme, to connect with its customers and enhance the dining experience. ⁤

From The Club

Trolli in a shake? Well, I’m quite hesitant about that. As I prefer classic flavors, I’m okay with Johnny Rockets’ chocolate shake with Oreo bits, but when Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers will be added, I might be hesitant to try. I get it’s called Dirt Cup Shake and is a nostalgic offer, but I just stick on my classic shake options.
