The brands are releasing a fried chicken-flavored toothpaste, which makes this a world-first collab that brings KFC’s iconic fried chicken as a toothpaste applied straight to your teeth. Can you imagine that?
In fact, Koban Jones, Hismile’s Marketing Manager, revealed that the idea actually started as an April Fool’s joke, but then they thought of making it real. According to Jones, the brand loves pushing boundaries, and bringing KFC’s legendary flavors as a part of someone’s everyday essentials is a fun and unexpected way to create a product.
The toothpaste is inspired by KFC’s 11 secret herbs and spices that are wrapped up to be your next toothpaste. It’s just like biting into KFC’s Original Recipe Fried Chicken but in a toothpaste form to clean your teeth to help you feel fresh and clean.
But of course, no toothpaste is complete without its toothbrush. So, to deliver a complete set of oral care tools for fans, KFC and Hismile will also be releasing an electric toothbrush. It is designed as a sleek and powerful brushing machine with three dynamic cleaning modes, a built-in timer, and soft bristles that are powerful but gentle to your teeth.
The Hismile x KFC Toothpaste is priced at $13 USD, while the Hismile x KFC Electric Toothbrush is priced at $59 USD. They will be available at hismileteeth.com starting today (April 1, 2025) for a limited time until supplies last. Can you believe it? KFC is introducing a new meal bucket in nearly a decade! The best thing about it? It includes a new appetizer that perfectly pairs with the chicken.
Say hello to the Dunk It Bucket, which features the brand’s new Mashed Potato Poppers, which will be available nationwide until supplies last. It’s simply KFC’s mashed potato getting a crunchy upgrade with a creamy inside. You can choose to get them in a la carte (five pieces with warm gravy) or order the Dunk It Bucket if you’re hosting a bigger crowd.

Unique collaborations and odd products are no stranger in the fast food area. Different brands collaborate with fast food to create fashion or collectible merchandise. Over the years, we’ve seen different merchandise that we can’t help but say are weird. One brand that we can point out is probably KFC. Let’s check out the odd collaborations they had that we can remember.
Just last year, KFC collaborated with Hatch, a sleep wellness company that creates different ASMR audios. For Hatch’s KFC collaboration special, they created an ASMR frying of their chicken called “The Fried Chicken Rain.” In the audio, we hear the sounds of fried chicken getting fried, which people describe as sounding like a falling rain on the ground. Hatch employees worked closely with KFC’s food innovation team as they recorded the process of frying the new chicken tenders.
But that’s not just the unique collaboration that KFC has done. From cleaning teeth, the chicken chain can trace its weird collaboration history to perfume. Yup, there used to be a KFC perfume that’s supposed to smell like smoky wood and charcoal. It’s called the No. 11 Eau de BBQ in a 100 ml bottle that’s only sold in the United Kingdom. The release of the perfume actually marks the launch of KFC UK’s Ultimate BBQ Burger back in May of last year.
