KFC’s got a lot in store for fans this May!
A new month is fast approaching in the next few days, yet KFC is here to say hello with some new releases as sweet as May! The good news starts today as they’re bringing back the popular Chicken & Waffles for the first time in five years. They’re available in KFC menus starting today! It features a juicy and Original recipe of the chain’s fried chicken that is paired with thick and golden brown waffles. It comes with a pearl sugar pocket with sweet syrup to smother your waffles in.
But wait, that’s not all, as KFC is introducing another sweet treat. Say hello to the new Strawberry & Crème Pie Poppers, which are filled with strawberry and cream and have a flaky crust.
Catherine Tan-Gillespie, President of KFC USA, said that Chicken & Waffles are the true American icon. She added that KFC’s version is the secret recipe of fried chicken paired with sweet and golden waffles and a gooey syrup.
Deals and Value Meals to Grab
Since Mother’s Day is also coming right up, with a surprise of the new duo, KFC is bringing in sweet deals as a gift for every mother out there with the following wallet-friendly deals:
- $7 Tenders and Waffle Box – This value meal set includes three Original Recipe Tenders with Liège-style waffles and Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup.
- $7 Two-Piece Fried Chicken and Waffle Box – Enjoy two pieces of KFC’s world-famous fried chicken in thigh and drum parts from the Original Recipe or Extra Crispy. There’s also Liège-style waffles with Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup.
- $25 Chicken & Waffles Fan Favorite Box – Get four pieces of KFC’s fried chicken (or six tenders), 12 pieces of KFC Nuggets, and four Liège-style waffles. There are also two individual fries and your choice of four syrups or dipping sauces.
Every time you enjoy an order of Chicken & Waffles, you get double points on KFC.com or the KFC app. This is reflected when you order the $7 or $25 Chicken & Waffles offers through KFC Rewards. There’s also a BOGO deal to snag, which gives you eight pieces of Chicken Bucket or Tenders if you’re a new KFC Rewards member.
Can’t get enough of these deals? Catch KFC’s $10 Tuesdays with Tenders as the chain continues to evolve its bestselling $10 Tuesday Deal. The promo consists of a Tuesday-only deal wherein guests can feed the family with eight Original Recipe Tenders or eight pieces of their classic fried chicken with four dipping sauces. You can enjoy your Tuesday dinner while spending only $8.
Aside from these deals, KFC will also give another gift to moms who want to relax at home. KFC is offering a $0 delivery on all digital orders. All you need to do to claim your gift is to order delivery or Quick Pick-up via the KFC app. In case you’re not familiar with Quick Pick-Up orders, they may be scheduled up to four days in advance, so you don’t have to follow around the rush of the Mother’s Day celebration.

While we’re excited over these new treats and deals to grab, there’s also another release that KFC brought back from the last few months. If your guess is the Dunk It Bucket, then you’re right! What’s great about this new menu item is that it’s KFC’s new bucket in nearly a decade. It will also feature the new menu item of Mashed Potato Poppers as a crunchy new twist. They’re fried to perfection and made to be creamy on the inside. You can choose to grab them à la carte (five pieces with a side of warm gravy) or go big with the Dunk It Bucket.
Now, what’s in the Dunk It Bucket? It has been called a quadruple threat since it’s also loaded with Secret Recipe Fries and hand-breaded Original Recipe Tenders with your choice of sauces. The solo Dunk-It Bucket is priced at $7, while the Double Dunk-It Bucket is priced at $25. Guests can even choose to create their own meal combination by choosing from some of the following sauces available for the lineup:
- Warm Gravy – This classic sauce is now an official dipping sauce at KFC.
- Comeback Sauce – This sauce is more on the zesty and creamy side.
- Honey BBQ – A fan-favorite choice which features sweet, tangy, and smoky, just like what you’d expect when eating BBQ.
- Honey Mustard – If you want a tangy and sweet sauce for your Tenders, then this one’s the catch. You can never go wrong with mustard blended with honey.
- Sticky, Chicky Sweet and Sour Sauce – This sauce blends sweet and tangy tastes from ingredients of pineapple, vinegar, garlic, and chili.
- Classic Ranch – If you want to keep your sauce classic, then KFC’s Classic Ranch is the answer.
- Buffalo Ranch – But if you’re craving buffalo chicken, then choose this sauce with a twist. It features creamy ranch with buttermilk, herbs, spices, and blended peppers.
