Missed this Krispy Kreme collection the first time around? Well, here’s your second chance!
This year is shaping up to be a big year for Krispy Kreme. They’ve really outdone themselves with all the new flavors they’re coming up with. They’re truly leading the way when it comes to doughnut innovation; pushing the boundaries of what flavors you can legitimately put on a doughnut. We’ve seen them collaborate with other brands in the past. But this just might be their biggest one yet.
Krispy Kreme is giving fans another chance to enjoy their Kit Kat Collection! The Krispy Kreme x Kit Kat doughnuts first debuted back in April but will make a very limited return for just one week starting on July 8, 2024. This lineup will feature the same three delicious doughnuts we saw back then. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.
- KIT KAT Crunch Doughnut – First up is the Crunch Doughnut. This is an Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in rich Hershey’s Milk Chocolate icing, finished with chopped KIT KAT pieces and chocolate-flavored crispies. It’s an excellent treat if you’re looking for something with a crunchy texture and a smooth chocolate flavor.
- KIT KAT Cookie Dream Filled Doughnut – Next we have the Cookie Dream Filled Doughnut. If you want something with a little more crunch, you can’t go wrong with this option. It’s an unglazed doughnut filled with cookie dough flavored Kreme, hand-dipped in Hershey’s Milk Chocolate icing, and topped with chopped KIT KAT pieces, cookie crumbles, and semi-sweet Hershey’s chips with a delicate drizzle of cookie dough flavored icing.
- KIT KAT Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut – And last, we have the Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut. This doughnut is absolutely decadent. It’s an Original Glazed doughnut topped with brownie batter flavored buttercream, covered with chopped KIT KAT and brownie pieces, and finished with salted caramel flavored ribbons.

What’s New at Krispy Kreme?
There’s plenty of new stuff over at Krispy Kreme. But the highlights this season are the Star Spangled Sweetness Collection and their new Doughnut Dots.
Star Spangled Sweetness
To celebrate Independence Day, Krispy Kreme created a new set of doughnuts that perfectly match the colors for this holiday: red, white, and blue. These limited-time doughnuts are very patriotic and the ideal dessert to serve on your 4th of July celebration. Let’s see what’s included.
- Firework Cookies & Kreme Filled Doughnut – This is a new limited-edition doughnut created specifically for July 4th. It’s an unglazed bagel filled with Cookies & Kreme filling, finger-dunked in red frosting, and decorated with a loop of blue frosting and a piece of rocket-shaped confectionery.
- Cotton Candy Sparkler Doughnut – Another new item for this collection. It has blue icing and blue sugar made of cotton candy placed on top of an Original Glazed doughnut. It also has buttercream dollops in white and red.
- Freedom Flag Doughnut – This one is a returning favorite. It’s an Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in white icing, decorated with red icing stripes and blue and gold sprinkles.
- Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles Doughnut – If you want something simple but with a festive, 4th of July twist, this is the perfect doughnut for you. It’s a doughnut covered in chocolate icing and topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Doughnut Dots
Krispy Kreme also recently launched their own take on doughnut holes. Called the Doughnut Dots, these are doughnut holes that come in four different assortments.
- Powdered Doughnut Dot – The classic Original Glazed Doughnut hole covered in white powder.
- Sprinkled Doughnut Dot – An Original Glazed Doughnut hole decorated with rainbow nonpareils.
- Cinnamon Doughnut Dot – An Original Glazed Doughnut hole dusted with cinnamon.
- Cookie Crumb Doughnut Dot – An Original Glazed Doughnut hole coated with cookie crumbs and topped with white powder.

Krispy Kreme is really going big lately with the freebies and the new doughnut flavors! The Kit Kat Collection has to be one of the best collaborations in doughnut history.
