For a limited time, Krispy Kreme is just in time with summer treats with its new patriotic doughnuts: Star Spangled Sweetness Collection. Beginning June 21, you can purchase the following patriotic doughnuts at selected outlets in a personalized red, white, and blue box:
The New Firework Cookies & Kreme: An unglazed bagel filled with Cookies & Kreme filling, finger-dunked in red frosting, and decorated with a loop of blue frosting and a piece of rocket-shaped confectionery.
The New Cotton Candy Sparkler Doughnut: Blue icing and blue sugar made of cotton candy were put on an Original Glazed doughnut using a hand, and buttercream dollops in white and red covered the top part.
The Returning Freedom Flag Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut hand-dipped in white icing, decorated with red icing stripes and blue and gold sprinkles.
These doughnuts will also be available in a six-count box at select retailers. On July 4th, customers who wear red, white, and blue at their outlets could get a free Original Glazed doughnut by Krispy Kreme, and no purchase is required.
