This Father’s Day, Arby’s is combining the two things that all Dad’s love: golf and burgers!
We all know how most dads love sports and a good burger. So when coming up with a promotion for Father’s Day, what do you do? Arby’s decided to go with the most dad sport ever: golf. Let’s face it, this is the time when the demand for golf supplies are at an all time high. So Arby’s is joining in the fun to give all you dads out there a Father’s Day to remember.
Arby’s just announced a special promotion for Father’s Day that sees them giving out a limited-edition golf club called the Arby’s Burger Driver. It’s the perfect kind of merch to celebrate the occasion. But there’s a catch. You can’t just walk into Arby’s and ask for the Burger Driver. You actually have to win it in a contest! That makes it even more fun. So if you’re interested in joining, you can visit arbysburgerdriver.com from June 3 at 10 a.m. ET to June 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET to enter a contest and get a chance to win one of these unique golf clubs.
The Father’s Day festivities don’t end there. In addition to the Burger Driver, Arby’s is also serving up great burgers for the perfect Father’s Day meal. Arby’s is bringing out the Arby’s Deluxe Burger which has American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and a special sauce. Then there’s the Big Cheesy Burger which has six pieces of bacon and both American plus Swiss cheeses. You can’t go wrong with any of these delicious burgers from Arby’s. And of course, you can’t have burgers without fries, right? For fries, Arby’s bringing back a fan favorite item. You can add a side of Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries to go with each of these burgers.
It’s safe to say that Arby’s is one of those places to be for Father’s Day. So on June 16, take your dad out for a treat! Maybe even surprise him with a brand new golf club.
Arby’s Previous Limited Edition Merchandise
Arby’s marketing team is pretty good. They like using unique strategies to connect with their customers. Over the years, these strategies paid off when they launched a mix of inventive and themed holiday promos that were a big hit among customers. The most notable of which was the limited-edition Arby’s Holiday Collection which they launched back in 2020. It was filled with all sorts of holiday-themed memorabilia like Arby’s Holiday Shirts, Retro Holiday Glasses, and what is perhaps the most iconic limited-edition merch of all time: the Meatjamas.
They also released limited-edition merchandise in collaboration with the movie, Good Burger 2. Back in November, 2023, they released the Arby’s X Good Burger 2 merch to help promote the movie. The collection included a grey crewneck sweatshirt which featured art from the movie and a black t-shirt that says “I’m Ed.” This promo also featured a nostalgic meal that includes the Arby’s Deluxe Wagyu Steakhouse Burger.
Overall, Arby’s is definitely one of those chains who makes incredibly merch that you just can’t help but get your hands on.

Recent Buzzworthy Campaigns
Over the past two years, Arby’s made headlines with several marketing campaigns and promos. Like back in 2021, when they introduced the Real Country Style Rib sandwich. It garnered significant attention and generated a lot of hype online. This product launch was part of a larger campaign to directly challenge competitors like McDonald’s and their McRib sandwich.
Additionally, Arby’s responded really well to inflation and the rising cost of food. In early 2022, they adjusted their menu prices while keeping fan-favorite items reasonably priced. They found the perfect balance of maintaining both quality and value.

Personally, I’m not a big fan of golf. It’s not really the most exciting sport in the world but my dad seems to really like it. So does my granddad. I guess it really is just a dad thing.
