A Sweet History of Mars

Ever since 1911, when it was created, when we mention sweet treats, Mars is the first name on people’s lips. It was started by a man named Frank C. Mars from Tacoma City, Washington, who used to cook and sell buttercream candies at home. His offspring, Forrest Mars, also took up his father’s task, which led to the production of some candies celebrated all over the world.

Forrest Mars was the mastermind who brought us the Mars Bar, the Milky Way, and Snickers bars in 1932, all are popular in every part of the world. This move enabled Mars to create its own empire since those chocolates received worldwide recognition almost immediately. Mars has acquired other popular brands, including Skittles and Starburst, which makes Mars a major player in the confectionery industry over the past years. Up to the present, the firm is still privately held by the Mars family, led by Mars family members who keep coming up with new ideas that appeal to their fan base of sweet tooths across the globe.

What’s New for Halloween 2024: Mars’ Spooktacular Treats

Mars always keeps everything fresh and exciting, even in their Halloween lineup of 2024, and so it is no different this season. The shelves will be filled with new products or revised editions of old ones because they want to make sure they thrill their customers. Every other item that they introduce in this place represents their credibility in providing the best quality. Halloween is always one of Mars’ big days, as they add something different each year.

M&M’s Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie is generating a lot of news. Though there have been pumpkin-flavored M&M’s before, this fresh variant, incorporating milk chocolate pieces, is expected to offer a comforting autumnal flavor.

Then there’s the Redesigned SNICKERS Pumpkins Packaging, which aims to grab your attention with a new look. Mars Wrigley is also combining their fan-favorite gummies and chocolates in Mixed Variety Bags, a perfect mix for party bowls.

TWIX Ghoulish Green and SNICKERS Ghoulish Green are both making a return, adding a fun, eerie twist to the favorites with their ghastly hues.

The M&M’s Ghouls Blend will be available in different options like Milk Chocolate, Peanut, and Peanut Butter. This makes it versatile for candy bowls, and a great pick for those who like variety.

Finally, the SNICKERS Fun Size Bucket offers convenience whether you’re trick-or-treating or just sharing treats at a Halloween gathering.

The Halloween sweets by Mars will be out in August. In view of this, you have enough time to make arrangements for your creepy holidays. Ensure that while you go for more candy, watch out for the exiting new brands!

From The Club

Trick or treat? I’d prefer a treat if it’s from Mars! ‘Cause why not? Ever since I was a kid, I always loved it when I got a lot of treats from our neighbors or when my parents gave me a Snickers bar, and up until growing up, my love for sweets (like any other) has not faded; in fact, almost all of us know the joy of eating sweets. And with the confirmation of the treats we’ll be getting this coming August, I don’t have to wait ’til November to enjoy it though.
