The new Happy Meal lets you take a piece of McDonald’s home.
Heads up, McDonald’s fans and toy collectors! The fast food giant just dropped a new Happy Meal with a tiny surprise. Yup, we’re talking about the toys included in these meals! The tiny collectible toys are inspired by the brand’s most iconic items—fries, Boo buckets, burgers, and so much more. Don’t miss out on all the cuteness!

Beginning July 1, 2025, McDonald’s will be offering the Lil McDonald’s Happy Meal, which lets you bring a pocket-sized piece of McDonald’s home. How, you ask? Well, each happy meal contains one of the 21 mini toys inspired by what you see at McDonald’s restaurants. Aside from the world-famous menu items, the collection also includes mini delivery trucks, ordering kiosks, and even food plates.
Additionally, the Lil McDonald’s Happy Meal will come with a fun digital experience. Each Happy Meal box comes with a code that you can scan to play the Drive Thru Dash digital game. In this game, you can choose a manager, take orders, and dash through the drive thru to secure high scores!
According to the Director of Marketing, Brand, Content & Culture for McDonald’s USA, Anna Engel, the new Happy Meal continues the tradition of creating lasting memories for both kids and adults. For parents, seeing their kids’ imagination come to life with the tiny toys is almost a magical experience.
And speaking of magical, what if the Lil McDonald’s toy collection comes to life in a BIG way? Well, that’s not just an idea because the fast food chain is making it a reality. On July 19 and 20, the Lil McDonald’s collection gets a life-sized representation! Catch this experience at Santa Monica Place (Space #112) in Los Angeles, from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. on both days. It’s a FREE event and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
If you can’t go all the way to Los Angeles, don’t worry! You can recreate the fun at home by visiting this page and downloading the digital placemat that turns any table into a Lil’ McDonald’s play zone. Or, you can use the PlayPlace Finder in the McDonald’s app to find nearby restaurants with play spaces.
More Exciting Offers from McDonald’s

McDonald’s is also heating up the summer season with cool treats and new eats. And yes, we’re talking about the limited-time HERSHEY’S S’mores McFlurry and the upcoming launch of Snack Wraps (finally). Here’s everything we know about these latest offerings:

The dessert of the season features the classic vanilla soft serve, blended with HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate pieces, graham crackers, and marshmallows. It’s available in two sizes: mini and regular, with 280 calories and 460 calories, respectively.
- Snack Wraps – After nine devastating years, we’re getting the Snack Wraps back—on July 10, 2025 to be exact! This time around, McDonald’s is making these wraps available in two flavors: Spicy Snack Wrap and Ranch Snack Wrap. The former will have a fiery habanero kick, while the latter will have a cool ranch flavor profile with hints of onion and garlic. Mark your calendars and expect the chicken wrap wars to reignite on July 10 onwards!
