For added excitement, these nuggs also boast smoky and slightly sweet flavors, much like your favorite BBQ delicacy. The brand just brought back a tropical menu item that’s sticky-sweet and reminiscent of summer sunshine. If your taste buds are ready, let’s dig in!
Arby’s Prime Rib Steak Nuggets
Looks like Arby’s is coming for McDonald’s and Outback Steakhouse. If you heard the news that Arby’s has a new test item called Prime Rib Steak Nuggets (and enjoyed them), you’ll love this new update: the Steak Nuggets are will be released nationwide this coming fall season! Yup, the testing locations must be devouring these nuggs, so Arby’s decided to release them across the country.
To recap, Arby’s Steak Nuggets are bite-sized chunks of smoked steak, served with Hickory BBQ dipping sauce on the side. But that’s not all! Because in select testing locations, Arby’s is also offering these steak nuggets in a bowl and as part of a hearty sandwich. The bowl is filled with smoky nuggets, nestled on top of a creamy white cheddar mac and cheese, and then finished with crispy onions. Meanwhile, the sandwich layers the protein bites with crispy onions, Harvati cheese, pickles, and Arby’s signature Horsey sauce.
As for the location of the steak nuggets, you may find them in the following areas right now:
- Tulsa
- Grand Rapids
- Orlando
- Jacksonville
- Green Bay
Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Nothing Bundt Cakes, famous for their moist and flavorful ring-shaped cakes, brings back a tropical favorite as a pop-up flavor. Say hello again to the Pineapple Upside Down Cake! They’re baking this decadent treat from May 19 to June 1 only, so grab yours while it’s still available!
What’s special about the Pineapple Upside Down Cake, you ask? Well, to be concise, it has an overall flavor profile that reminds you of the tropics and fun island time. As for how it’s made, the bundtlet features sweet pineapples, cherry halves, and caramel sauce. You can order this returning item as an individual bundlet, but it’s also available as the following:

Let’s go beyond Arby’s and Nothing Bundt Cakes, shall we? We’re so blessed this month of May as we’ve seen early summer menu releases as well as limited-time items that are too good to pass up. And if you want to do a bit of shaking up in your fast food routine, then you shouldn’t miss these new menu releases.
- Sonic’s Slushes and Bites – After all that craze surrounding the Unicorn Dreams Slush, Sonic is offering new drinks to keep us refreshed this summer. On May 27, the brand is bringing back Watermelon and Lemonberry Slushes, and these can be paired with the brand’s new Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni Bites. These crispy, golden brown bites are loaded with mozzarella cheese, provolone cheese, and pepperoni, all smothered in a zesty pizza sauce.
- Mellow Mushroom Panizzis – Well, since we’ve already mentioned something about pizza, how would you like yours to be combined with panini? Yup, this hybrid creation exists at Mellow Mushroom, specifically in its Atlanta’s Grant Park location. Panizzi combines panini and pizza in a melty hand-held menu item, made with pizza dough, fresh veggies, premium cheeses, and flavorful meats. Mellow Mushroom’s panizzis are available in the following flavors: Chicken Pesto Panizzi, Mega Meatball, Steez Steak Panizzi, and Shroomin.
- Wendy’s Takis Fuego Meal – This one’s not for the faint of heart. If you want a summer that’s hotter than ever, don’t miss Wendy’s upcoming Takis Fuego Meal. This spicy new creation features Fuego Chicken Sandwich and Fuego Fries. Fans are especially looking forward to the sandwich, which includes crushed Takis Fuego chips, layered with spicy chicken fillet, chili lime, cheddar cheese sauce, and a corn spread. Meanwhile, the fries are seasoned with chili lime. These new items are expected to hit the menus in late June.
- Starbucks’ Summer Menu – That’s right, it’s officially summer at Starbucks! The brand is introducing its limited-time beverages today (May 20, 2025), and these include Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, which features Starbucks Blonde Espresso and horchata syrup. The Summer-Berry Refreshers have also landed on the menu, offering a fruity blend of blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry, poured over raspberry-flavored pearls. Add coconut milk, and you’ll turn it into a Summer Skies Drink, or for a more refreshing sip, try the Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher.

Arby’s is doubling down on its slogan “We Have the Meats” with the nationwide release of steak nuggets! I remember some people being dubious about this new item, but it looks like fans can’t get enough of it, at least in the testing locations.
