Fast food chains are rolling out fresh deals and menu items, just in time for April’s events, including the Easter weekend and Stanley Cup playoffs. For instance, Chipotle is bringing back the Hockey BOGO deal, while Subway is celebrating the Lyrid Meteor Shower by offering a generous deal to MVP Rewards members. Additionally, this offer is exclusively available on the BK’s mobile app and website as well as dine-in with the 6-digit “My Code” (where available). Burger King’s Cheeseburger is a reliable fix when you need something savory for a snack. It features a flame-grilled patty, layered with American cheese, yellow mustard, crunchy pickles, and ketchup, all served on a toasty sesame seed bun. Find the 1-cent Cheeseburger at participating locations nationwide, with a limit of one offer per account.
Chipotle’s Hockey BOGO Deal
Meanwhile, Chipotle is celebrating the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs, and fans are encouraged to join in by taking advantage of the chain’s buy one, get one (BOGO) deal on entrées in the US and Canada. So how exactly can you score this deal? Easy! Just wear a hockey jersey when you drop by the restaurant after 3 p.m. local time, beginning April 21.
Here are the other important details about Chipotle’s BOGO offer:
- The BOGO deal is limited to five free menu items per check (subject to availability)
- To score the free item, you must purchase an entrée (kids’ meal excluded)
- The deal can only be collected by the jersey-wearing customer. Don’t worry, any jersey will do!
As part of the partnership between Chipotle and the National Hockey League (NHL), the restaurant will be able to work with more NHL Players for future content series and brand campaigns. For now, you can check out this Hockey Jersey hype video that stars some of Chipotle’s biggest athlete superfans. Also, as the official Mexican-themed fast-casual restaurant of the NHL, expect to see the Chipotle logo on the ice for every game during the Stanley Cup playoffs.
