This summer, we’re getting tons of iced coffee options from all our favorite coffee chains. But what about for those of us who would prefer our coffee hot? Well, Peet’s Coffee just launched a collection perfect for a coffee lover this summer.

Pete’s Coffee just launched the Bright Collection which features two new blends: Sun Catcher and Off the Grid. These new blends have a vibrant, fruity, and smooth texture that’s simply delightful and elevates the whole coffee experience. A lot of meticulous research was spent on creating the Bright Collection which was developed over two years, using high-quality beans from Brazil, Kenya, Colombia, and El Salvador. Sun Catcher

First up, we have Sun Catcher. This bright blend is the lightest blend in the collection and combines beans from Mt. Kenya and Brazil. It has a distinct fruity taste along with some sweetness which includes flavors of strawberry jam, citrus, and honeysuckle. It also has a great aroma while brewing.

If you want something smoother and closer to traditional coffee, you may want to try Off the Grid. This is a medium roast blend and combines Colombian and El Salvadorian beans. It has notes of milk chocolate, almond butter, and pear, giving it a smoother texture compared to Sun Catcher. It strikes the perfect balance between approachability and complexity making it an equally irresistible choice.

The Bright Collection is now available at all Peet’s Coffee Bar locations, at grocery stores, on Amazon, or at the official Peet’s website.

So what are you waiting for? Go and try the Bright Collection to brighten up you day with coffee this season! If you’re looking to switch things up on your morning ritual, this just might be what you’re looking for.

The History Behind Peet’s Coffee

Peet’s Coffee may be one of the more well-known chains today but that wasn’t always the case. Its story dates all the way back to the 1960s when Alfred Peet founded the company in Berkeley, California. Peet was actually a Dutch immigrant who moved to the United States and forever changed the coffee culture by introducing a darker, richer espresso-style coffee. He was driven by passion dedicated his life to making high quality fresh roasts that quickly gained a massive following. This legacy continues to this day.

Peet was a true trailblazer in the coffee world. His approach to coffee became the cornerstone for what is now known as the “second wave” of coffee culture. He inspired a new generation of coffee enthusiasts and set the foundations for the current coffee trends. What set Peet’s apart was Alfred Peet’s insistence on only sourcing the highest quality beans, much of which was imported directly from regions around the world that boasted ideal growing climates. To this day, Peet’s Coffee upholds the same commitment and dedication and continues to serve great coffee.

From The Club

Peet’s Coffee just came out with what looks like the best coffee blend this season! The Bright Collection is a promising set of new blends that sound like the perfect coffee experience. Personally, I prefer the Off the Grid blend because it has tastes of smooth milk chocolate. Although the vibrant citric notes of the Sun Catcher blend is pretty intriguing too.
