Sun’s up! Summer is waving, and so are the refreshing foods and drinks that are lined up to satisfy your summer cravings. 😎
Today, we’re bringing you a ton of leaked menu items to try this coming summer season. Feeling excited yet? You better be, as we’ve got summer menus from Dunkin’ and Starbucks, as well as fruity sips from Sonic. Not only that, Taco Bell is also making an appearance, slowly unveiling the new menu items that were first announced during their Live Más LIVE event last month. Plus, there are many other fast food places to choose from.
These are just some of the big food names that you’ll be getting for the summer. Expect more as the season grows closer, but for now, let’s check out some of these leaked menu items while we’re at it.
A&W Restaurants
Starting off the summer surprises are A&W Restaurants’ April 28th releases, which are the Double BBQ Bacon Crunch Burger and the Island Cream Freeze.
Now, if you’re craving a good burger, you might want to consider the Double BBQ Bacon Crunch Burger, which was released last year and is coming back for the summer. It features a tangy sauce with smoky bacon and crispy onions on top of your classic A&W Burger.
A&W will also release a cooler on the 28th to accompany the smoky burger. Say hello to the Island Cream Freeze, a treat that combines passion fruit, orange, and guava. These fruits are blended together with a Starry drink to create a tropical summer cooler.
Dunkin’
Calling all Dunkin’ fans, here’s a first look at the summer Dunkin’ menu! 👀And the good news is, that’s only part one of the menu, as you’ll be getting more. Here’s what you’ll be getting for the first wave:
- Tropical Guava Refresher (New)
- Pistachio Signature Latte – You can get them hot or iced
- Caramel Oat Shakin’ Espresso (New)
- Pistachio Shakin’ Espresso
- Iced Strawberry Lemon Loaf (New)
The drinks placed above, as well as the Iced Strawberry Lemon Loaf, are expected to drop by April 30. However, the Caramel Oat Shakin’ Espresso and Pistachio Shakin’ Espresso are only available through the Dunkin’ app. Also, great news for those of you looking for meal savers, as Dunkin’ will continue to offer value this summer with the $6 meal deal. It includes a medium-sized coffee that you can get iced or hot, a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich, plus six pieces of hash browns.
Dunkin’ is rolling even more surprises from May to June! Available from May 28 to June 24 is the refreshingly new Orange ‘N Vanilla Classic Donut plus the Pride Classic Donut. Note that the latter menu item is served optional as some Dunkin’ stores may offer a different menu item in its place. If you’re looking for the Munchkins, Dunkin’ will also release the Summer Munchkin Buckets, but the release date is yet to be announced.

Little Caesars
For the summer, Little Caesars partnered up with Mountain Dew to create a drink that would go well with their pizzas. Say hello to the Little Caesars exclusive Mango Rush Dew that will be rolling out by May 5. The flavor you can expect from this drink is that it has a mango-sweet heat flavor. You may imagine this as a sweet and spicy mango habanero-like but in a Mountain Dew form. You can only get this exclusive drink in 16oz cans. Now imagine this together with a Pretzel Crust Pizza. 😋
Sonic
Sonic fans, your favorite drive-in restaurant, just released a new, perfect cooler this summer. Since it’s the strawberry season, Sonic just released the new Berries and Cream drink. It features a blackberry and raspberry blend syrups in a drink that is layered with real strawberries. There’s also a sweet cream plus fizzy Sprite finish for a unique take that Sonic’s drinks are known for.
Starbucks
Starbucks welcomes the summer heat with fruity refreshments, new horchata, and cake pop treats. First of all, the coffee chain is bringing back the Summer Berry Refreshers as berries are in for the summer season, with Starbucks taking advantage of it. You can choose from raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors, which are mixed in water, lemonade, and coconut milk with Raspberry-flavored pearls.
Starbucks will also release a new drink, which is the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, for those of you looking for a cooler plus caffeine this summer. It features the classic Starbucks Blonde Espresso combined with the chain’s new Horchata syrup with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and rice that are shaken together with ice.
Speaking of strawberries, Starbucks will not lack them, especially since they’re also adding the Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop, which features strawberry cream mixed together with buttercream and dipped in chocolate icing. These summer drops are speculated to be released by May 20, 2025. However, streets say that there won’t be a part two of the menu, so you’d have to stick to any of these for the season.
Taco Bell
In case you missed it, Taco Bell is currently testing three new menu items at select locations:
- Crispalupa – Currently served in Atlanta, the Crispalupa features a stuffed pocket of slow-roasted chicken with lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheddar cheese. The pockets are smothered in spicy ranch sauce.
- Flamin’ Hot Burrito – A flour tortilla made with Flamin’ Hot Fritos and beef with sour cream and nacho cheese sauce. The burrito also features a Flamin’ Hot Rice for extra flavor. Currently, this menu item is being tested in Oklahoma.
- Cantina Chicken Crunchy Taco – Features a white corn shell that is loaded with slow-roasted chicken and spicy ranch sauce. The taco is also packed with lettuce, purple cabbage, pico de gallo, and shredded cheddar cheese. This menu item is currently being tested in Minneapolis.
Waffle House
Waffle House is also here to make your summer mornings sweeter as they’re serving the new Strawberry Shortcake Waffles, but only for a limited time. It features a strawberry waffle base that is topped with some strawberry shortcake crunch. They have been available nationwide at participating Waffle House locations since April 14, 2025.

This has got to be one of the best roundups ever! I could eat and drink every single menu item on the menu. But in the meantime, I guess I’ll first try some good old Waffle House Strawberry Shortcake Waffles for a little break. I love how simple this treat is, but it’s enough to keep me excited.
