Be the first to taste these goodies lined up in your favorite fast food places! For this batch of new offerings, expect to get fun-filled collaboration and sweet treats for spring. First up, we’ve got McDonald’s with their special collaboration with “A Minecraft Movie.” Sonic is also releasing three new refreshments from Sprite this spring season. But if you’ve got a sweet tooth, Tim Hortons is sealing the Easter-themed releases with donuts and bunny merch as their spring special.
Now, if you’re up to try some new flavors, then read along as we’ve got some options lined up for you. Who knows? You might get your new favorite treat!
McDonald’s
We’re getting a new meal collaboration from McDonald’s, and it’s none other than “A Minecraft Movie” that will be hitting the theatres on April 4, 2025. McDonald’s just teamed up with Warner Bros. as they debut A Minecraft Movie Meal and A Minecraft Movie Happy Meal for a limited time starting April 1, 2025. More than the themed packaging, this exciting meal will feature exclusive collectibles, a new hot sauce, and an in-game code that players can use.
Now, what can we expect from A Minecraft Movie Meal? Customers can choose between two versions of the meal, including medium fries, a drink, a collectible, and a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets. If you order the latter, the option will come with the Nether Flame Sauce, the chain’s new spicy but sweet sauce. It’s made with crushed red pepper and flaming cayenne with flavor hints of garlic and sweetness.
The collectibles that include the meal feature a matching card and code that customers can choose to redeem to unlock exclusive skin in the Minecraft Marketplace. Check out the six character collectibles that you may bag:
- Big Mac Crystal – This block character represents the famous Big Mac with its shiny, melty cheese and toasted sesame bun.
- Birdie Wings – Found in the sky, this block character has a rare pair of elytra wings.
- Fry Helmet – Features the iconic McDonald’s French Fries packaging. It is rumored to protect you from those stealing your last Fry.
- Grimace Egg – Missing Grimace? He’s now here in the form of a block in reference to the popular purple shake.
- Soda Potion – A combo of McDonald’s soda helps create a magical block character like Soda Potion.
- Zombie Hamburglar – The iconic Hamburglar character block who moves late at night and wanders through biomes to search for hamburgers.
As for the Minecraft Happy Meal, it comes with a scannable code to unlock an exclusive digital game. In this game alone, players will get to complete their own quests in “A Minecraft Movie.” You can also choose among the 12 film-inspired figurines.

Sonic
There’s nothing better than a sip of a glass full of Sprite during warmer months, and Sonic has gotten the memo! 😉 The fast food chain is offering three new Sprite creations that you can sip right now. Check out each refreshing flavored-Sprite drink available at Sonic:
- Twisted Flamingo – This Sprite base drink features cherry vanilla and sweet cream mix to deliver a creamy cherry drink with a fountain drink hint. They’re perfect to pair with any of Sonic’s burgers and fries for the perfect combination.
- Sour Dragon Fruit Recharger – Looking for ways to enjoy your energy drink? Get this recharger from Sonic, as it features a mix of Sprite and Red Bull with a squeeze of sour lemon. Sweet grape and exotic dragon fruit flavors.
- Dragon Fruit Sprite with NERD – This drink was last known as “The Paris,” but now, you can order an upgraded version of it. This drink features a Sprite base with dragon fruit flavoring. There are also some real lemon and lime fruits, which are topped with sweet cream and your childhood favorite NERDS candy pieces.
Tim Hortons
Calling all Tim Hortons fans and sweet tooth crowd alike, Tim Hortons is dropping new spring goodies that are worth checking out. A little warning: you might want to get a dozen after seeing these cute donuts and, not to mention the matching merch that comes with it.
Now, are you ready to check out what Tim Hortons is set to bring us this spring season? Here’s a peek at the lineup available now at participating Tim Hortons USA locations:
- Bunny Donuts – It comes in two variations: dipped ears or dipped toes. They feature a fluffy donut base dipped in your choice of vanilla or chocolate. The donuts are finished off with bunny ears or some bunny toes and a cake Timbit in the middle.
- Spring Timbits Bucket – It features Tim’s Bucket in a bright and colorful look made for Easter. The bucket is filled with 30 pieces of Timbits. You can reuse it again if you want to purchase a refill. A single bucket is priced at $4.99, while a bucket filled with Timbits is at $10.99
But that’s not the only surprise that Tim Hortons USA is bringing as they’re welcoming the season with new bunny-decorated merchandise to make you remember the season. First of all, we have the Easter Bunny Figural Mug colored in pastel, which is priced at $12.99. But if you want something huggable, then you can go for an Easter Bunny Plushie that is holding a donut. You can get it for $16.99.

From The Club
Whew! We’ve got a lot of collaborations for this batch, but what caught my attention is Sonic’s Dragon Fruit Sprite with Nerds. I remembered loving the strawberry and grape-flavored NERDS back then, so I’m curious how these mini candies can work for a Sprite and dragon fruit combination. I also love Tim Hortons’ Easter bunny preview, and I felt like I needed to get them all, especially the cute bunny plushie!
