Chips Ahoy! is introducing its new and improved Original Cookie. This new recipe brings a makeover to the classic blue bag packaging and focuses on the chocolate chip because, let’s be honest, a chocolate chip cookie is all about the chocolate chips. The new chocolate chip boasts a higher cacao content and Madagascar vanilla extract concentrate. This results in a smoother, tastier chocolate that Chips Ahoy! describes as “just right.”
In addition to the enhanced chocolate, the cookie promises a richer flavor and improved texture, thanks to Chips Ahoy!’s new mixing process.
These subtle changes promise an upgraded cookie experience unique to the Chips Ahoy brand.
Alongside the recipe upgrade, Chips Ahoy! is giving its iconic blue bag a modern makeover. The bag will feature a sleek matte finish and graffiti design, emphasizing how “The cookie you love just got even better!” The new blue bag, featuring a prominent image of the “MMMproved” cookie, will grab attention on store shelves.
For now, these changes apply only to the original crunchy cookie. The Chewy, Chunky, and other cookie varieties will retain their original recipes.
