These latest summer releases are bringing fresh and cool vibes!
Do you know what’s hotter than the summer weather? The latest drool-worthy items landing on restaurant menus! That’s right, summer has unofficially begun as restaurants roll out seasonal menus packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Your summer cravings are about to get an upgrade once you see Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s newest beverage, Taco John’s new Fiesta menu, and Salad and Go’s Italian-inspired summer salad. All these and more are waiting for you this summer of 2025. Let’s dig in!
Salad and Go’s Summer Menu
This summer, Salad and Go is transporting you straight to the Mediterranean with its newest salad, along with the the brand’s first-ever side dish. These seasonal menu offerings will be available through September 9, and are part of Salad and Go’s mission to offer fresh, nutritious food that’s affordable for all.
Salad and Go’s summer menu features the Tuscan Summer Salad, made with cooked orecchiette pasta, fresh cucumbers, house-made sundried tomato tapenade, shredded provolone cheese, and red onion, tossed in an Italian vinaigrette. This salad is also available with your choice of protein (tofu or grilled chicken) priced just under $9.
According to the co-founder and head chef of Salad and Go, Chef Daniel Patino, by exploring Mediterranean flavor profiles, the brand is expanding its menu innovation and creating items that deliver in terms of exceptional taste and nutritional value. Another surprise from the brand is that they’re introducing their first-ever side dish: hummus.
Salad and Go’s hummus is available in traditional or sundried tomato, and then served with pita chips for $4.50. Adding hummus to the menu is part of the brand’s plan to serve customers in new ways. By offering two varieties of hummus, guests will have more flexibility when it comes to enjoying Salad and Go.
Additionally, the Blueberry Basil Lemonade is making a comeback as a perfect complement to other summer menu items. This returning drink is available for under $2 only. To further celebrate the summer season, Salad and Go is launching its first-ever “Passport to Flavor” sweepstakes, running from May 12 to June 30. By purchasing any of the brand’s six featured wraps or salads, guests can collect stamps that they can add to their passport. Guests can upload the completed Salad and Go passport at saladandgo.com/passport to enter for a chance to win a trip for two to a destination of their choice.
As for Salad and Go’s summer menu, you can find it at all 143 locations across Oklahoma, Nevada, Texas, and Arizona. You can order at the drive-thru or use the Salad and Go mobile app for a more convenient option.
Taco John’s Fiesta Menu
Meanwhile, Taco John’s is giving us more flavor to indulge in this summer. Get ready for a fiesta in your mouth as Taco John’s launches the new Fiesta menu plus a new lineup of refreshing beverages, so you can cool down this season.
So what can you find on Taco John’s Fiesta menu? According to the brand, it features fresh and savory ingredients like all-white meat chicken and Pico de Gallo made fresh daily. Also included is the brand’s signature Fiesta sauce, made with onions, jalapeños, sour cream, tomato, garlic, and cilantro.
To celebrate, Taco John’s is offering 2 Fiesta Softshell Tacos for $5. Each taco features a soft flour tortilla loaded with your choice of premium protein (seasoned sirloin steak or grilled all-white meat chicken) and then topped with Fiesta Sauce, a blend of four cheeses, Pico de Gallo, and shredded lettuce.
Of course, there are also brand new Fiesta menu items that you can try:
- Fiesta Burrito – This is a 10-inch soft flour tortilla filled with all the Fiesta fixings, seasoned rice, and guac made with Hass avocados.
- Fiesta Quesadilla – This 10-inch grilled flour tortilla comes loaded with Fiesta sauce, a melty four-cheese blend, Pico de Gallo, and guac.
For a more filling meal, you can upgrade your Fiesta menu item to a combo meal, served with small Potato Olés and a small drink. And speaking of drinks, you may also want to check out Taco John’s returning Summer Lemonades. These include premium wildberry and strawberry beverages made on-demand using real fruit purees and Tropicana Lemonade.
Taco John’s is also introducing another drink option: Dirty Soda! You can add sweet cream to your beverage of choice for a rich and creamy experience. Try the Dirty Wildberry Lemonade, Dirty Strawberry Lemonade, or any fountain drink with sweet cream for just 50 cents more. All these summer offerings from Taco John’s are available in-store, at the drive-thru, or via the mobile app, for a limited time only.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s Ohana Breeze Smoothie
Finally, we have Tropical Smoothie Cafe and their newest creation, ‘Ohana Breeze Smoothie, to celebrate the release of Disney’s live-action “Lilo & Stitch.” Before hitting the theater on May 23, take a sip from this new drink that’s bursting with island magic!
The new ‘Ohana Breeze Smoothie is blended with mango, pineapple, banana, orange juice, and blue spirulina. As per the brand, the new drink is inspired by the Hawaiian word for family (ʻOhana), reflecting the heartwarming spirit of the Disney film. And just like the movie’s message, “family means no one gets left behind,” the smoothie is available in two sizes: 12 oz. for the kids and 24 oz. for adults. This makes the ‘Ohana Breeze Smoothie a perfect drink for the whole family this summer!
The limited-time ‘Ohana Breeze Smoothie is the first-ever collaboration between Tropical Smoothie Cafe and a Disney film. The visual and emotional aesthetics of Lilo & Stitch served as a springboard for the conception of the smoothie’s name, color, and recipe. The Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s culinary team even experimented with nearly 20 flavor combinations to find the perfect recipe and shade of blue!
