New Oreo Churro Flavor Hits Stores
Oreo recently announced on social media that it’s introducing a new, limited-edition churro-flavored cookie.The new cookie will be available on shelves starting March 27 for a short time, as per the brand’s announcement.
Oreo’s Churro flavor will offer a fresh take on the Golden Oreo. The cookie itself will have a fried dough flavor and will be filled with churro-flavored cream and sugar bits.
We all love churros for their satisfying crunch and sweet sugar coating. While the Churro Oreo won’t have that sugary dusting, it will still provide the fried dough crunch along with the classic sweetness. Just like a real churro, the Churro Oreo tastes great on its own but can be even better when dipped in chocolate or dulce de leche sauce.
Some hardcore Oreo fans might remember a churro flavor released in 2019 as a “mystery flavor” cookie sold in a plain white bag, resembling the traditional black and white Oreo. It was later revealed that the flavor was churro, known for its cinnamon-infused cream.
Though the brand experimented with a limited-time churro flavor in the past, this new Churro Oreo is entirely different. The fried dough-flavored cookie and sugary churro-flavored cream offer a unique twist to the classic sandwich cookie.
