While it isn’t so bad seeing fan-favorites return, sometimes you just need something new to excite your taste buds. If you’re like me who treat most restaurant visits like an adventure, then you’ll love exploring new menu items that offer warm holiday joy, and of course, bold flavors. Bonus: you could score some savings, too, when you drop by these restaurants:
Another Broken Egg Cafe
The leading restaurant brand in upscale breakfast, brunch, and lunch, Another Broken Egg Cafe, joins the holiday celebration as they release their limited-time offerings showcasing festive flavors. The brand is proud to announce the newest addition to their holiday menu lineup, the Gingerbread Waffle. This new seasonal item features a gingerbread-flavored waffle, with gingerbread cookie crumble, candied pecans, and bourb*n-infused whipped topping. Not everyone can get their hands on the Gingerbread Waffle, though. According to the brand, it’s only available for guests 21 years of age and above.
Another Broken Egg Cafe’s Vice President of Marketing, Brandy Blackwell, shared that guests can expect a warm and nostalgic twist to their traditional waffle, thanks to the timely addition of the gingerbread spice. Aside from Gingerbread Waffle, the restaurant has other offerings that aims to bring extra cheer, which is great news especially for those who aren’t old enough yet to try the new waffle.
Here are other seasonal menu items to try at Another Broken Egg Cafe:
- Lobster Hash Benedict: Enjoy this potato hash loaded with cheddar and ham for a burst of savory flavor. This dish also features poached eggs, mushrooms seasoned with truffle, sauteed lobster, and red pepper hollandaise. To complete the gastronomic adventure, the dish is finished with fried onions and can be served either with grits or fresh country potatoes.
- Mediterranean Omelette: If you want to make your breakfast extra fancy, try this omelette filled with cream cheese, red onions, sliced gyro meat, spinach, and roasted red peppers. To bring out more of that Mediterranean flavor, it’s finished with goat cheese with Greek seasoning and sliced tomatoes. Served with flat bread and fresh country potatoes or grits.
- Tiramisu French Toast: Completing Another Broken Egg Cafe’s seasonal menu is the Tiramisu French Toast, the perfect menu item to bring sweetness to your holiday breakfast or brunch. It features a cream cheese-filled French toast, finished with cocoa dusting and espresso whipped cream. This mouthwatering toast is served with two eggs in any style and your choice of house-made sausage patties or baked bacon.
Guests are reminded that the new Gingerbread Waffle and all other holiday menu items will be available through January 6, 2024, until supplies last.

Unique dining experiences also await at Noodles & Company, a fast-casual restaurant popular for their Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. While you can still get your hands on this fan-favorite item, Noodles & Company has more in store for you and for avid fans of mac & cheese. Noodles & Company recently announced the launch of a new specialty menu that features new versions of its famous Mac & Cheese. The catch is this menu will only be available in select test markets, including Colorado, Illinois, and Ohio. For those who live in these areas, it should be an exciting time to try new dishes centered around Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, which has been a fan-favorite for almost 30 years. Just last year, guests enjoyed over 10 million bowls of this dish!
Developed with The Culinary Edge, the new specialty menu of Noodles & Company include the following:
- Buffalo Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese – This dish features elbow noodles smothered in creamy jack and cheddar cheese sauce. It’s topped with everything you love about buffalo chicken: parmesan-crusted chicken, green onions, crispy onions, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing.
- Garlic Bacon Crunch Mac & Cheese – This version features a creamy garlic sauce with white cheddar and bacon. For the toppings, you get a combination of parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, and crispy onions.
- Pulled Pork BBQ Mac & Cheese – Meaty, smoky, and cheesy, this variation of mac & cheese includes cheddar and jack cheese sauce. It’s also topped with BBQ sauce, pulled pork, crispy onions, and green onions.
Despite releasing new menu items, Noodles & Company keeps the classic mac & cheese at the forefront of their offerings. This move and more reflect the brand’s commitment to innovation, according to Scott Davis, Noodles & Company’s Chief Concept Officer. The company is also testing other new items, including pasta dishes and fresh salads, and the Chicken Riggie, which features shaved parmesan and cherry peppers. To encourage everyone to explore new flavors, Noodles & Company promises that if guests didn’t enjoy their meal, they’re eligible to get another option, free of charge!
Additionally, the company encourages guests to sign up for Noodles Rewards, for an even better dining experience. If you’re not a member yet, this would give you access to loads of perks, including points for each order made, birthday rewards, free regular entree on your first purchase, and other exclusive offers. Red Robin
‘Tis the season to enjoy gourmet deals and candy cane-inspired drinks, at least according to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews. This family-friendly restaurant is ready to unleash the fun with the highlight of their holiday menu: Tipsy Santa. This is a mocktail finished with whipped cream and comes with a crushed candy cane rim. Just a reminder, though, that only guests 21 years of age and up can order alcohol at the restaurant.
So what’s something that everyone could enjoy at Red Robin? Meet OREO Candy Cane Milkshake, a festive twist to the brand’s famous OREO Cookie Magic Milkshake! If this won’t bring all the elves to the yard, I don’t know what will! Kidding aside, this new seasonal milkshake combines vanilla soft serve with OREO cookie crumbs, peppermint flavor, and crushed candy cane. It comes complete with whipped topping, more OREO cookie crumbs, and candy cane pieces.

It’s so fun to see more and more holiday menu items being released this season! Sure, it can be quite overwhelming, but it really makes you think which ones are worth trying. On my list, I’ve added Another Broken Egg Cafe‘s Tiramisu French Toast, Noodles & Company‘s Garlic Bacon Crunch Mac & Cheese, and Red Robin’s OREO Candy Cane Milkshake. Of course, I wouldn’t pass up on Red Robin‘s $10 deal, as a super fan of cheeseburger, lol! What also stood out to me was Noodle & Company’s assurance for those who will try their new specialty dishes.
